Ch 5: ch 4

"Meet up tomorrow at midnight. Round up who you can. And Naruto be careful. This is higher than s-rank." Sasuke said as they neared the village once again. He couldn't believe Naruto had convinced him to do this. It was stupid and would surely get him killed but it felt oh so right. A secret mission that was basically treason.

"Well fuck" Sasuke muttered. Itachi poked him in the forehead.

"Language" Itachi chastised. Sasuke rolled his eyes.

"I know relax dattebayo. It'll go fine" Naruto assured rolling his blue eyes.

"What will go fine!? Why did this all happen off screen!?" Naruto complained.

"More importantly how did you convince him!? What did you do!?" Sakura groaned.

"Don't look at me. I'm as clueless as you three" Kakashi chastised.

His genin pouted.

"And if they don't agree to it?"

"If who don't agree to it?" Shisui questioned.

"They won't tell"

"Who is they! Use names damnit!" Shisui exclaimed.

"Shisui they can't hear you." Itachi said.

"Good i can rant at them without repercussions then" Shisui responded.

"But how can you"

"Their parents would have their asses" Naruto snickered.

"Oh so all of us then" Shikamaru said gesturing to the konoha twelve.

"W-wait a minute i've got a curfew!" Kiba stammered as his mom snarled angrily.

"Well i already swore at my dad, attempted to go nukenin, assaulted my brother who is also an anbu and future heir might i add so i doubt i'll care about sneaking out at night" Sasuke said.

"Actually i'd do it now. I've done it before" Sasuke shrugged.

"You what?" Fugaku questioned.

"Nothing" Sasuke responded inwardly cursing. He'd forgotten his dad was there behind his safety blanket of teammates.

"Fair point" Sasuke conceded.

"See ya teme"

"Later dobe" Sasuke responded. Sasuke took a deep breath as he arrived at his house. He cursed himself for locking his window and surrounding the edges of it with paper bombs that would surely go off if he tried to get inside.

"You did what to your window!?" Fugaku choked.

"I'm paranoid. You do the math" Sasuke responded.

Front door it was. Sasuke regretted coming back home instantly. His fathers angry face greeted him.

"Uh oh" Naruto muttered.

"Your grounded" Fugaku stated.

"That's it?" Sasuke questioned.

Sasuke raised a brow at his father. That was it?

"Stop repeating yourself in you inner monologue"

"Hn"

"well it's not like i had a life anyways" Sasuke muttered but froze as he caught sight of Itachi. He winced. Oops.

"You think!?" Shisui exclaimed.

"Shisui calm down. He didn't mean to" Itachi responded.

"Doesn't matter. I hate it when your hurting" Shisui whispered.
