I opened the door and I sighed as I closed it. "School was such a drag well up to third period." I say as I leaned against the door. "Well I guess my question just got answered." My day says and smiles. I laughed and put my stuff of the play on the table where my dad was sitting at. I go up to my dad and he gives me a kiss on my forehead. I smiled. "What's cooking?" He shrugs. "I don't know your grandma is cooking something but it smells good." I nod. I noticed that my dad was seeing the pictures. "What's this?" He asks. "Oh I'm going to be part of the school play; I'm going to be a pirate." His eyes shot open. "What?" I gave him a weird look. "Yes dad look." I showed him the picture, I laid them out in order in front of him. He looked at them and nodded. "So you're going to wear this blue dress and then a pirates outfit with a hook?" "Yes dad it's a twist to Peter Pan where love conquers all blah blah" I said. "I thought Hook was a guy Aqua." I nod. "Well that's the thing they wanted to change it so the villain could be more attractive and be a seductress." I said and laughed. "You're not going to be all sexy you hear me young lady." I laugh. "Well see that's what I'm going to learn dad don't worry." "So you're basically going to be a princess and a pirate?" "Yup." He laughed nervously as he gathered all the pictures and handed them to me. "That is funny." I nod. Dinner came and as we were sitting down mother comes through the door exhausted and takes off her heels. "I need to design floating shoes because I can't deal with heels anymore." My mom said. We all just looked at her and laughed. "Hello my beautiful family, it's so good to be home." She said and hugged and kissed everyone that was at the table. She then goes and puts her stuff down and sits down. My dad serves my mother a plate of food and she smiles. "Thanks my love." She says and my dad smiles. "Ah mom I sure missed your famous lasagna." My grandmother smiled and nodded. "So how was everyone's day?" Everyone smiled as they were eating. "Leia?" "Boring day at school mom." She says. "How come sweetie?" "Well because we all got in trouble so we had no recess." My mother gasps. "Why?" "Someone was being disrespectful and well yeah." My mom shakes her head. "I'm sorry sweetie." She shakes her head and smiles.  Then she continues to eat. "Devon how was school and practice?" He smiles. "I had a good day and practice was exhausting." She smiles and nods. "How about you Aqua?" I look at her and smile. "It was good, nothing new." My dad gives me a weird look. "Are you sure you don't want to tell your mother what you're going to be playing Aqua?" I squint at my dad. My mom gives me a weird look then continues to eat. "So what is it Aqua?" "Oh nothing I'm just going to be a pirate for this years spring play." My mom stops eating and gives me a weird look. "A pirate?" I nod. "Yeah I'm going to play Captain Hook in our version of Peter Pan." "Oh I thought Captain Hook was a guy?" I nod. "Yeah but ours is different, I'm going to play and there will be a love triangle and all that." She smiles. "Well I can't wait to see you play a pirate sweetie." I smile. We continued to eat and just enjoy the nice family atmosphere.
