We went to my favorite restaurant on the south beach pier, they had the best rooftop dinning of all pier restaurants around the area. Luckily my parents knew and they had reserved it all for us. My grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins everyone was there. We got there a little bit before sunset so it looked beautiful, I sat there and closed my eyes and inhaled the smell of the ocean. It brought such peace to me and that's when something came to my mind from what Mr. Cassidy said. That my father was a pirate and I had that blood in me. I knew what the book said but I don't know, I open my eyes and look at my family and the pictures of the book came to mind. No, it can't be true. Well I have to know. The waiter comes and takes our order. We continue to talk and then 25 min later our food arrives. We start to eat and I am just eating fries. When I noticed everyone was nearly done I knew it was the right time to ask. "So what did Mr. Cassidy mean when he said that father was a pirate and that I had that in my blood and also he kept mentioning the name Rhea?" Everyone got silent. "Well it's because I'm a sailor and he thinks pirates are the same thing." My dad said. "No please tell me truth, I think I deserve to know." I scream. My mom looks at my dad and he nods. My mother sighs. "Well sweetie we are not from this land." I gave them a baffled look. "What do you mean this land?" The waiters came and took some our plates and went downstairs. "Like country?" I said. "No, we don't know exactly it's just another land and your grandparents, Lacy, your dad, Mr. Cassidy, me and you, we were born there." I gave her a baffled look. "I don't get it." She sighs. "Well I was a princess back in that land, your father was a prince and a sailor and for some part a pirate. Mr. Cassidy, Neal was a knight. Your grandparents were the king and queen of Garrington. Then I married your father and then I became queen of Valedonia and then there was an accident and a device teleported us to this land." She said. "You're kidding right?" She shakes her head. "No, honey we are not." I chuckle. "So it's true what the book says." They stood there baffled. "What book?" My mom asks confused as can be. "This book, I had brought it with me and left it in my locker." They all gasp. "Where did you get that?" My father asks. "It was in the attic!" They sat there quietly. "So my real name is Rhea Marie of Garrington?" I looked down. "I was a princess?" I ask while my voice was shaky as can be. Everyone still sat there quietly. "That's why I have memories or something of a celebration, yours mother. I thought they were just dreams but they were memories!" "It's all true." My dad said. "And because of them." I said as I pointed at uncle Jay and aunt Arie. "We had our home destroyed?" They both looked down ashamed. "Dad you were a pirate?" "Aye, I was the captain of the ship." I got up and grabbed my head. "I thought it was just some project." They were all still sitting there. "So mom you had fallen in love with a knight and that knight was Mr. Cassidy." "Yes." She says as puts her head down. "Mom, why didn't you tell me?" She sighs. "I'm sorry sweetie, we didn't think you'd remember anything." My mother said. "So everything this book says actually happened?" My dad nods. "So your real name mom is Emma and yours dad is Killian." They both nod. "So there's no way to go back?" I asked. "No sweetie there isn't." My uncle Jay said. "We tried but nothing we don't know how we were able to open it. And plus if there was you guys would return to nothing." I sat down and started to cry. "No wonder there wasn't any record of you guys anywhere. You all have false but sort of real identities." My mom sighs.I'm sorry." My mom said. I look up and half smile. "It's ok." I said as I wiped my tears. "I'm just glad this was all sorted out." I said and sighed. "I am so proud of my little Rhea who proved to be worthy of being a pirate and might I say she inherited that seductive vibe that I have." My dad said breaking the silence. Everyone laughed. "Oh gosh dad." I said and laughed. "Hey you did do good." He said and smiled. "Yes just like that time in Rhea's party where he came all looking like a pirate and tried to seduce me." My mom said. Everyone laughed. "So how did it feel to wear leather?" My dad asked. "It made me feel sensual, and made me become evil instantly like it helped. Well now that I know the truth you can tell me everything about your adventures in our kingdom." "So, what's your favorite part in the book?" "I actually have two, the day you two met, I mean who gets to see their parents fall in love and where my dad is a pirate and then mom slashes him then later hits him in the head." Everyone laughed. "Oh I remember that day." My dad said. "I still have the scar on my arm and the bruise on my head from the hit." He says and acts like he's hurt. "Oh hush, I was trying to get your memory back." My mom says and laughs. "So slashing me on the arm would help get my memories back?" My dad asked and everyone laughed. We then ordered dessert. I closed my eyes and inhaled the smell of the sea and then I opened my eyes and looked at my dad. "Hey dad I not only inherited your seductive vibe but also the love of the sea." My dad smiled and hugged me. It hit me that now I know what I'm going to do with my life.
