It's been a few days since the little talk with Superman. I've just mostly helped Lex with his company, taking calls, making appointments. I'm practically, Mercy's assistant.

I was thinking about visiting Mom, when a phone call caught my attention. I put my ear piece in and answered.

"Lex Corp. Who is speaking?" I asked in a professional tone.

"(Y/N)?" It was Bruce.

"That is my name, but who is speaking?" I pretended not to know.

"(Y/N), it's me. Bruce." He said softly.

"Bruce Wayne? What is your business for calling today?" It came out a little more harsh than it was supposed to.

"I need to discuss some things with Lex Luthor." He sighed.

"Please hold." I put him on hold and called Lex's desk phone.

"Hello."

"Bruce Wayne is on the line." I informed.

"Thank you." He hung up.

I leaned back in my chair and fixed the pencil skirt I had on. Lex had bought me professional office clothes.

Another call came in, I answered, telling them I'll have Lex call them back. It kept up like this for a while. I checked the clock on my desk, it was time for my break.

I stood up and grabbed my blazer, I walked towards the elevator, saying 'hello' to the other workers. Pressing the button for the elevator, my cellphone started ringing. Confused on who could be calling me since I just got this phone, I hesitantly answer.

"Hello?" I said walking into the elevator as soon the doors opened.

"Baby Flower?" There was only one person who would call me that.

"Mommy?" My voice wavered.

"How's my precious flower?" She asked.

"I'm fine. H-How did you get my number? And how are you allowed to call me?" I asked suspiciously.

"I know that 'I'm fine.' thing. You're not fine. Also, Lex gave it to me when he came a while ago. He said you were hurting. Also, strangely Batman gave me clearance. Now explain why you're hurting." She informed and demanded.

I sighed heavily before starting.

"Richard, was having a party for his birthday. After a while, a few friends decided to play 'Seven Minutes In Heaven'. He and his best friend, Barbara were chosen. She kissed him...he kissed back. I read his mind as this happened. Not a single thought of me was in there when they kissed. So, I left and haven't gone back." Tears started to fall as I walked out the elevator. I kept my head low, avoiding people to look at my face.

I walked down the street. Mom hasn't said anything, I was getting worried.

"Mom?" I asked carefully.

"That little- Ugh! He's so lucky I'm in here! I would have him strangled by my vines!" She yelled, I flinched and nearly drop my phone when she did.

"Mom! Relax." I said cautiously, not wanting to make her more pissed.

"Don't worry, Baby. Mother Ivy will find a way out for you." She whispered.

"N-No! Mom! Don't do that! It'll sabotage things or whatever." I scolded her.

"You're right, Baby Flower. I'll act like a responsible mother." She then cleared her throat.
