Kaldur, his two guards and I were walking towards the Containment Room, where he had La'gaan held. Upon reaching the room, we entered and La'gaan started to spit words at Kaldur. He gripped the bars in front of him, seeming to try to get as close as possible to us.
"How can you stand to look in the mirror? Atlantis, K'orin. The Team. You betrayed us all! Neptune's beard! I can't believe I once idolized you!"
Before he can continue, Manta came walking in asking about why La'gaan was still aboard. He talked about how Kaldur should already send him to our partner.
"I will handle it personally, Father."
"Negative. I have other duties for you, my son."
"You're not his son! You're his Errand Boy!" La'gaan dejected. I slammed on the gate to shut him up.
"I am aware of my role in the larger picture, La'gaan. Are you?" Kaldur then injected him with a tranquilizer.
"Ugh! I am so getting you back for this, Chum..." La'gaan slowly started to doze off and fall back.
"Finally. His blabbering was annoying." I huffed, looking down at his unconscious body. Soon, the guards placed a collar on La'gaan and placed him in a pod, rolling him away to an Ott.
Kaldur then bowed to his father, I just stood on the side.
"Kaldur'ahm, you should know my faith in you is absolute, but others require further proof of loyalty."
"You have my word, Father. I'll do whatever it takes to enter The Light." Kaldur spoke with high confidence.
Kaldur, compared to me, needs to prove to everyone that he is truly on the dark side. I, of course, didn't since Father is a very intimidating man and a harsh one at that. So, of course I would be on their side from the beginning, no doubt. I was born from an evil family, there's evil flowing through my veins everyday.
I sighed and started to walk away from Kaldur and his father, but not until Manta stopped me.
"Frostbite. I would appreciate if you joined Kaldur'ahm on any of his next activities, along with Tigress. I noticed you have not been communicating well with her." I simply nodded and continued out. I was not in the mood to protest.
Time Skip
It was now time for Kaldur's plan to go into action. Kaldur, The Terror Twins, Icicle Jr., Tigress and I were now in Kaldur's flyer.
"Brother Tommy, I think we're plumb crazy to throw in with this feller, I mean, it wasn't two years ago Mr. Aqualad here was trying to lock us back up in Belle Reve." I heard Tuppence whisper to Tommy.
"Well, Sister Tuppence, folks say he had a change of heart since finding out who his pappy is." Tommy responded.
I could tell Kaldur was getting uncomfortable about the conversation. Especially after Junior started talking about Tula, then started flirting with Tuppence.
"How about you shut it, Junior? Doesn't matter why he switched, he switched. That's it. Just keep doing what you're told and keep shut. And can you please stop using such lame pick up lines on Tuppence?" I called from the other side of the ship. I leaned back in my seat.
I heard Junior scoff and started to listen to Tommy.
"How come the Terror Twins never heard about this 'Tigress'?" I was getting tired of this smack talk they were having so I spoke up again.
"Maybe she wanted to stay low-key. Ever thought of that, Tommy?" I asked with sass and turned in my seat. Before I can continue, Tigress held her hand up and started talking.
