The School of Hyshin

2-2 - Abriel

So we like went to the gym and I sat with my friends, Tammie and Mia. As people started ot fill the room, a boy I knew from middle school sat next to Mia. We never really talked much, but he's super cute, I'd hit that. His name was Kae. Anyways

Groups of students entered the gym.

"Abriel, you're staring at the boy there," Tammie teased.

"Am not," I contradicted crossing my arms in a joking way.

"He's kinda cute," Mia joined in.

"Oo~ You like him don't you?" Tammie smiled slyly.

"What's his name?" 

"I think it's Kaeden?" They talked on

"It's Kae..." I muttered.

"Ooo~ You do like him" Mia laughed.

"Come on you guys..." I begged, half seriously.

"Alright we're done." Tammie rolled her eyes.

There was a loud squeal from the front of the room. "Goodmorning." The teacher said, there were a few scattered, tired groans. 

He continued to talk about school and how things worked around here. Afterwards I went to social studies

"See you later," Tammie waved as Mia and I entered the classroom. 

"Bye." Mia waved happily.

We entered the classroom and sat down next to each other.

"How have you and Tammie been going." I asked smirking

"We've been talking more, and she complimented my new haircut." Mia ran her fingers through her deep black hair.

She got it cut even shorter than it already was into a masculine style, while I had a more feminine style you could say.

"Hey, Abriel!" A girl came up to me blushing.

"Yes?" I replied sighing in my head.

"I was wondering if you want to come to my block party, both you and Mia are invited." She handed me an envelope decorated with stickers of balloons. 

"Thanks, I'll see if I'm able to make it." I answered politely

"Thank you so much." She blushed and went back to her smiling and laughing friends.

Mia waved and turned back to me.

"I think you and Tammie make a great couple." I told her.

"Really? I'm not even sure she's into girls."

"She's Pan" I replied casually

Mia grinned, "This increases my chance"

The teacher came to the front of the room and started talking.

After we did a bunch of annoying shit we moved onto lunch. I sat next to Mia and she sat next to Tammie, The table was quickly surrounded by a group of girls at the end.

"Abriel, stop being pretty." Tammie comanded, "We can't go anywhere without some group of girls following you."

"Yeah..." I sighed, "It sucks"

Tammie and Mia talked for a bit while I zoned out eating my food.

"Hey are you doing alright?" A girl came to sit next to me, I recognized her from my social studies class.

"Yeah just thinkin'," I say.

"Thinkin' bout what." She mimicked my tone, "Havin' girl troubles?"

"I don't have a girlfriend."

"I know, talking 'bout your friends there."

"Hmm..." I say surprised, "I guess a bit in that case."

"Man I feel you bro." She said, "My name's Arutia by the way" She smiles

"I'm Abriel."

"I'll see you around my dude." She said walking away.

"Another girl ask you out?" Tammie asked leaning forward to look at me.

"No... She just talked to me" It was strange to see a girl who just talked to me without freaking the fuck out.

"Probably gay." Tammie shrugged it off. "I'd hit that."

Arutia was short with deep brown hair gelled up, she didn't appear to shave her legs, what confidence.

Lunch was over shortly and classes went on explaining the school and how shit works. I got on the bus and sat a few seats behind Masumi, It was our first day so I sat next to Mia and Tammie sat across from us. We had something arranged so on a day 1 I sat next to Mia, day 2 I sat alone, day 3 I sat next to Tammie. It was pretty organized and nice.

"Hey can I get the window seat?" I asked her,

"Sure!" She smiled and we got up and switched places.

I looked out the window not saying much, I noticed Masumi looking at me from the outside as she walked home so I waved, Kae walked a bit ahead of her. She waved back and smiled.

"You waving to your boyfriend?" Tammie started the teasing.

"Nop, just the new girl. She seems nice, I kinda wanna be friends with her"

"Her hair is cute." Mia says looking at her.

"You could do so much cute stuff with it!" Tammie smiled excitedly.

"You guys should talk to her." I suggested.

"Abriel, are you telling us to socialize." Mia said in a shocked, sarcastic voice"

"You guys both have two friends." I reminded them.

"Thas true" They agreed.

"My bus stop is coming up see you guys around," I got up as the bus came to a stop.

"Bye Abriel." Tammie waved as I got off. 

I liked to get off the bus stop before my own so I could walk a bit and just think. It seemed all to soon when I arrived at my house.

"I'm home!" I shout.

"Did you have a good day?" My dad was in the kitchen making food while my mom sat on the couch watching the news.

"Yeah, It was mostly boring stuff but I have a little worksheet to fill out." I took of my shoes and brought my backpack to my room through the kitchen.

My room was set up in the perfect position. I had a window on the other side of the room where I could easily sneak out of, and my room is right next to the kitchen for easy snacking. I went onto my phone where I just browsed tumblr and such. 

I was in a group chat with a few friends, just I generally just watched what they were saying and never answered, only if something was directed at me. I opened it up and looked at the messages, there was alot of drama between two girls. 

Girl 1 in the group chat was taking a prank too far but it was fucking hilarious. girl 2, not in the chat was being super pissed and it was also hilarious. I watched the chat until the joke stopped when one of them got blocked.

I sighed at the clock on my phone, it was already 1am. I should probably sleep before I get too tired.
