Samuel

Beeping, blood, death. That's all I thought of while I sat in waiting room of the hospital.

She was in surgery but it didn't seem like she would make it. Chase was gone. He was with the police the last time I checked but I knew him and I knew he'd find a way to escape their clutches and get off scott free. And when he finally did he'd leave this place and never come back.

He doesn't and wouldn't care what happened to her. He wouldn't care that he was the one who killed her. And he wouldn't care what happened to me.

He'd probably be happy that she was gone and he could marry someone who was actually up to his expectations.

"Excuse me. Are you Samuel Minster?" I nodded. "You are under arrest for the attempted murder of Nicolette Hanson." The officer pulled me up by my fore arm and cuffs were immediately put on my wrists.

A doctor came out and saw the officers. Her eyes widened as she walked over with her clipboard. "Excuse me, may I ask what is happening?"

The officer shook his head. "Not unless you have information about Mrs.Hanson."

The woman looked down at her paperwork and turned it to show the man. The man nodded as he turned to me. "Scratch what I just said." He tightened the cuffs on my wrists. "You are under arrest for the murder of Nicolette Hanson."

The officers pulled on my arms and made me start walking. As I walked out of the building I saw the smug look on Chase's face and the look on her father and mothers faces that said 'we warned you.'
