It had been a few months sonce graduation and Sousuke and Makoto had been to busy with their jobs to make time for each other.He was driving with Rin waiting for another day to come by.Although this wasn't the case they were rushing to a building that has been set alight and the criminals held but passers by.Sousuke and Rin were to hold people away from the building as that person could see it as an opportunity for suicide.After about an hour the fire was out and Rin and Sousuke went to help the firemen death for people who could be trapped there.As they were strolling down the hallway Rin said "didn't Makoto want TO work as a firefighter?"That sentence hit Sousuke hard.What if Makoto was stuck here?."Help...ghaa...someone.....hel...p aagghh"Whoever was shouting sounded weak.On the verge of death even.Sousuke and Rin ran to where the sound was coming from.They saw a face.It was bloody and tear stained."Come on let's pull them off "Rin shouted."Yeah let's move"Sousuke said.After about ten minutes the board's were off.Sousuke turned the firefighter around."M-Makoto?!!!"Sousuke said his eyes growing wide.

About an hour and a half later.

Makoto felt like he was in water.Drowning even.He wondered where he was,or why he couldn't wake up.He wanted Sousuke to hug him close and warm.He had a pounding in his head.His whole body was sore.But,something was,touching his hand.A nice,warming sensation that felt like,Sousuke.Makoto was pleased with this feeling.He was glad it was happening and why it was there he didn't care.He liked it.Makoto took a deep breath and shot up on the hospital bed his eyes wide open and stinging from the sudden light appearance.When he recovered and got used to the light he looked to his left and found Sousuke.Sousuke's big hand squeezed Makoto's harder.Once Makoto was fully awake Sousuke grabbed Makoto into a gentle hug."I've missed spending time with you.I've took a leave until you're better"Sousuke kindly smiled.Makoto became EXTREMLY happy and started to hum with his eyes closed and smiling.He started to hum "I'm so happy~hmm hmm Sousuke can spend time with me hmm hmm"He hummed.Sousuke began to laugh.They were having a great time until two people Sousuke didn't recognise came in."Ahh.Makoto hmm hmm~"A boy with red hair chimed."Its been a long time huh?"a shy boy with greeny blue-ish hair whispered tugging his thick jumper gently down more.They were holding hands too. (I ship Asahi x Ikuya from free starting days)."Asahi and Ikuya.How are you.The last time I saw you was middle school graduation"Makoto smiled.Asahi looked at Sousuke."Isn't he the guy that Haru kept fighting with?"Asahi asked his purple eyes becoming dark."It's in the past now their friends."Makoto rushed out.Sousuke nodded.He sure as hell wouldn't start a fight.Ikuya was still the same shy person he was all them years ago."So Makoto do you still swim?"Asahi grinned."When I can but I'm a firefighter.I have up and realised I didn't want it.Haru did."Makoto grinned devilishly."That's really cool Makoto"Ikuya whispered with his delicate finger by his mouth."What do you Two do then?"Makoto asked happily.Sousuke just sat back and watched."Well I'm someone who cares for old people,people with problems and disability's and parents who need their kids babysitting"Asahi grinned pointing to himself.Of course Asahi thinks it's different from a careworker.It isn't."What about you Ikuya?"Makoto asked softly knowing how sensitive the shy boy is."I don't really have a job so I just draw"Ikuya whispered."You were always amazing at it weren't you?"Makoto asked.Ikuya just shook his head in a no."Well we're better get going"Asahi smiled and saved goodbye.He took Ikuya's hand and pulled him along.When they left it was just Makoto and Sousuke again.The air became awkward.Makoto didn't know what to say as well as Sousuke but was good at reading the situation."I missed you Sousuke"Makoto smiled careful not to trigger any emotions Sousuke may have."Sure"Sousuke replied plainly."Is there anything bothering you?"Makoto asked."No"Sousuke replied."Are you sure.You just seem a bit quiet"Makoto said shyly."I'm fine just drop your stupid thoughts ok?"Sousuke shouted.Makoto covered his depressed feelings with a smile. It always worked.

A few hours later Makoto had been signed out of hospital and was at Sousuke's place.He usually stayed with his parents because he couldn't get in contact with his Sousuke.Makoto was gently lied down on the sofa.Sousuke for Makoto water and food and everything he needed.Sousuke stayed on a matress downstairs that night. Sousuke woke up in the night to hear painful pants."gggghhhhhggg"It was Makoto.Sousuke sat up and turned around to see Makoto painfully and slowly moving himself to stand up."Do you need any help?"Sousuke asked sarcastically."I'm fine"Makoto smiled hiding his true feelings in a tiny door in his heart.Makoto keeps the key for when more pain needs to be put into it.The tiny box in Makoto's heart will one day open.He'll just need to be broken enough for it."You are in pain and need help Makoto don't lie"Sousuke said sternly."I'm fine Sousuke"Makoto smiled and stood up quickly his burns feeling as if something painfully piercing was stabbed into him.Makoto limped to the kitchen.He came back with water for himself and Sousuke.Makoto say down."Here you go Sousuke."Makoto smiled and handed Sousuke the drink."If you wanted water I could've got it for us"Sousuke said sympathetically."But it's finr I'm FINE SOUSUKE.DON'T WORRY as long a you LOVE ME I'm fine"Makoto smiled.Sousuke worrying for Makoto made him feel selfish.He unlocked the box in his heart added another thing to it but covered everything up with a smile.

Sousuke Pov.

I am really worried about Makoto.He is hiding something from me.Oh Makoto I can see straight through you.Please trust me.What do you take me for?An idiot?Stop lying Mako.WHAT do you this this IS?LOVE?Or am I someone you can lie to?

It was the next morning and I got up with a sigh.I saw Makoto's peaceful face as he slept.I got up careful not to wake Makoto up.
