Makoto hung the last decoration
on the tree.He clasped his hands and smiled.

Sousuke looked at Makoto and smiled softly "Good job".Makoto blushed and smiled.

The door was knocked by someone outside.Makoto knew who it was and answered it.

Makoto shut the front door after signing a thing and paying.

Makoto hid the package under his bed,locked in a box and smirked.

It was Christmas eve and the whole of December Makoto had been buzzing.

Christmas was Makoto's favourite time of the year.

The box Makoto had his was huge.Luckily though,it fit under his bed.

Makoto dashed down the stairs and almost immediately started hanging up christmas lights.

Sousuke sighed."Makoto take a break.You'll be exhausted for Christmas tomorrow"Sousuke huffed,smiled and sighed all at the same time."Well we'll go too bad early.So Santa can visit us tonight"Makoto giggled.

Sousuke wrapped his arms around Makoto.He blushed.'We're not even together.What is he doing?He doesn't like me right?'Makoto thought.

Sousuke liked seeing Makoto flustered."Aaahhhn.....Makoto I'm so cold.I have a headache"Sousuke faked.He wanted to see what Makoto would do if Sousuke felt ill on Christmas eve."Sousuke let's get you to bed.You really must be excited for Christmas.C'mon let's get you warm"Makoto smiled.

Sousuke was tucked into bed and had a warm coffee Makoto went downstairs.

He needed to think things through.

Makoto Pov

I have a lot to think through.First off,why did Sousuke want ME to come with him?Why couldn't it have been Nagisa or Mikoshiba?I'm not exactly special.Why did Sousuke want me too live with him?Why do I have to be isolated?It isn't fair.Why do I have to spend Christmas with just him?I'm not complaining but it just seems sketchy.Not to mention previously he hugged me.He doesn't like me right?Does he know something about me that I don't?Did he even tell my family where I am?I hope he did.Either they'd be looking for me and searching for me.

Before I knew it tears poked the edges of my eyes.

I began to shiver and sniff.I couldn't stop myself from crying.

Sousuke probably heard because he came downstairs and hugged me.

"Hey what's wrong?"He asked me.

I shook my head.

"It's nothing"I gulped,sniffed and smiled.

I couldn't tell him how I really felt could I?

Sousuke handed me a glass of water and I drank it down worriedly.

"Hey,Makoto.You sure you're alright?"Sousuke asked me.

I nodded and smiled."What about your headache?Are you ok now?"I asked.

"Yeah I feel better.Guess I just needed to relax"Sousuke smirked.

Makoto made sure they got to bed early and made Sousuke eat all his dinner so he wouldn't have to get up in the night.

Makoto supplied Sousuke with 3 water bottles and said for him to use his own bathroom.

"And no leaving the room at all costs"Makoto ordered and sternly looked Sousuke in the eye."No leaving this room".
