Misplaced Trust

Sam's Point of View

"DUDE DUDE DUDE! THATS HER!" I yelled looking out the window. Colby walked over, but only saw the back of her. She looked nice from the back. She looked nice from any angle. I swooned, she was absolutely perfect.
"Bro I have those same sweats." He laughed.. "Wait no I don't I let Juliette take those." He finished walking back to sitting on the couch. I felt so bad for him. He loved Juliette so much. I saw the girl walking, she had a towel and it seemed as if she had on a bikini, so I assumed she was going swimming. I hurriedly changed and put on swimming trunks. I ran and caught up to her, but stayed like 10 foot behind her. I didn't want her to get freaked out if she saw me.
"On second thought..." I heard her say. Oh her voice is angelic, but it seems like I've heard it before. I just couldn't quite place where I heard it. She turned the opposite way of the pool. I stayed behind the corner, but watched to see where she was going. She went to Taylers door. Do they know each other? How? She just moved here. This is weird. I though to myself.
"He- JULIETTE!" I heard Tayler yell. No fucking way. That's not Juliette. I mentally slapped myself. How could I have not realized this. I have to tell Colby, but first I need to see if her and Tayler have anything going on, so it doesn't hurt Colby. I went and knocked and Tayler answered.
"Hey Sam. What's up?" He asked nervously laughing, and blocking the door to where I couldn't get in.
"Stop. I know Juliette is in there." I stated crossing my arms. He moved aside and let me in. Juliette ran to me and hugged me.
"Juliette, you're our new neighbor?" I asked.
"Yup." She said popping the p.
"Who's the guy.?" I asked now really confused.
"My best friend." She explained.
"Hurtful." Tayler said acting as if he had been shot causing us all to laugh.
"So are you guys..." I trailed off pointing at Tayler and Juliette.
"No, we just kept in touch after... Ya know..." Tayler explained.
"Oh okay. Well I'm gonna go cook some dinner.. Juliette you need to tell Colby." I said as I walked towards the door.
"I'm not gonna do that." She said crossing her arms.
"Then I will." I rolled my eyes and kept walking. I walked back to the apartment.
"Colby!" I announced as I walked in. Weird he didn't answer. I checked all the rooms and he wasn't in the apartment. I walked down to the pool and saw him swimming. He's been swimming a lot lately to keep his mind off Juliette.
"Colby I need to-" I started as I was getting in the water, but his eyes were somewhere else. I looked at what he saw. It was Juliette and Tayler. They were laughing, and walking down towards the pool. Tayler picked Juliette up and ran and spun with her. She was screaming and laughing. I saw Colby's expression change to anger. This was not about to be a pretty situation.
