Hidden Feelings

Juliette's point of view

I swam with Tayler a little while, and we took some pics together and of each other. Then I walked back up to my apartment. As I walked in I noticed Seth and Colby talking looking at the picture of me and Seth. They didn't hear me come in so I hid behind the kitchen counter and listened to their conversation.
"You're lucky. She's beautiful." I heard Colby say. Is he really playing dumb?
"Nah man we aren't dating. We've been best friends since we were babies. I love her. I really do, but she's not romantically interested in me, so I've never told her." Seth nervously laughed. My jaw dropped. What did I just hear.?
"Well dude, at least you have her in your life." I heard Colby sigh.
"Yea I would rather be her best friend then nothing at all." Seth replied. I snook back to the door and shut it loud enough to where they could here.
"Oh uh hi guys." I laughed as I was pretending to walk in.
"Hey Jules." Seth awkwardly laughed.
"I'm gonna go shower ok?" I said walking towards the bathroom.
"Wait meet our new neighbor. This Colby, Colby this is Juliette." Seth said "introducing" us.
"Hi." I said with a fake smile and then walked into the bathroom. I showered, and when I got out I wrapped my hair and body in towels. Shit I forgot clothes. Dammit Juliette. I cussed myself. I stuck my head out the door and saw Colby and Seth sitting on the couch.
"Hey I forgot clothes, so like turn your heads." I texted Seth. He told Colby and they both looked away. I ran to my room and shut the door. I put on a pair of my volleyball shorts, with Colby's tee shirt I had. It was comfortable. I put on a pair of black knee high socks and let my hair down. I walked back out, and sat down beside Seth. Colby looked at me, and gave me a "really?" Look.
"Hey Seth I'm gonna go hang out with Tayler." I said standing up and slipping on my vans. I walked out and actually stopped at Sam and Colby's. I knocked and Sam answered.
"Hey uh Sam can I talk to you?" I asked nervously.
"Of course Juliette." He said letting me in.
"Colby is at my apartment.." I stated.
"Why?" Sam asked.
"Hanging out with Seth. Like it's good they get a long, but if Colby stays around I don't think I can hide my feelings." I finished. Wow that's the first time I've admitted to myself I still love Colby.
"Listen here doll face. Colby loves you, you love Colby. Y'all need to work this out." Sam said giving me a serious look.
"I know, but I'm scared." I told him.
"Why?" He asked.
"I've never had anyone show me love. I don't know how to react." I finished.
"You'll figure it out love." He said giving me a smile.
"Okay I gotta go before Colby comes back." I said giving Sam a hug and running down to Taylers.
