The Call

Juliette's point of view

I put on my red tanktop, my skinny jeans & my red vans, I scrunched my hair & done nude makeup. The entire time I was getting ready I was thinking about Colby. I can't keep doing this with Tayler when I'm in love with Colby. Colby has my heart one hundred percent. I love Tayler also, but there's a difference between loving someone, and being in love with them. I walked into the kitchen just as Tayler finished cooking.
"I'm making everyone's plates do you like bacon, eggs and biscuits?" Tayler asked me.
"I do, and thank you so much, but I'm not hungry." I told him. I really wasn't hungry, I felt too bad about this entire situation.
"What's wrong?" He asked looking at me. I just shook my head, I couldn't tell him yet. I'm not even sure how to tell him without hurting him. I still want Tayler in my life; however, I doubt he will stay in my life after this. I felt myself tear up, so I walked away.
"Baby girl what's wrong?" He asked following me.
"Tayler I think we should just be friends. You're like my best friend, and I think it needs to stay that way. I'm really sorry, and I do love you, but.." I began to say.
"But you belong with Colby." Tayler finished. At this point I turned around.
"Yeah.. But.." He interrupted me again.
"It's fine. I understand. I do love you, and you're still my baby girl, and you'll always be my baby girl, and we will always be friends." He said giving me a hug. I hugged him tight, and began to cry.
"Thank you so much." I said burying my face into his chest.
"I love you baby girl." He said rubbing my back to calm me down.
"I love you Tayler." I laughed.
"Do me a favor?" Tayler asked pushing me out of his chest.
"Sure. What?" I said drying my tears.
"Go call Colby." He replied. I nodded my head, and walked into the bedroom to call.
It rang and rang and finally he answered.
"Hello?" He asked still waking up.
"Colby.." I said barely above a whisper because I didn't want to cry.
"Juliette?" He asked not sure if it was me.
"Yeah. Listen I'm sorry for everything. I still love you so much. I'm in love with you. I don't want to be with anyone else. I just want you." I explained with tears falling down my face.
"I love you Princess. When will you be home for us to talk face to face?" He asked.
"Plane leaves from here at 6:30 so around 9 I should be back at the apartment complex." I explained.
"Okay good. Enjoy your last day there, and we will talk when you get back ok?" He asked.
"Ok." I agreed. With that we hung up, and I walked back in the kitchen. Tayler had me a plate made with a note beside it that read,
"I'm in the dining room with my family, come in here when you feel like it, but you need to eat baby girl xo -Tayler" He was so thoughtful, I really hope I didn't hurt him.
