Aedion and Lysandra rushed to Aelin's room when they heard Rowan screaming.

"Can we never get a break?" Lysandra huffed, as they pushed open the door. Rowan had fallen to the floor, with his head in his hands.

"Rowan? Where's Aelin?" Aedion asked, going over to the immortal warrior. Well, right now he looked like anything but a warrior.

"She's in trouble. I feel it," Rowan said, standing up, "we're getting out of this psycho town." he muttered, pushing past the two of them.

-

Tamlin stood with Lucien in the office. Their expressions we're unreadable because of the masks, but Lucien was pacing and Tamlin kept fiddling with anything on his desk.

"I can't believe she didn't tell us she was married." Tamlin mumbled.

"I can't believe he's so h-" a death glare from Tamlin stopped the words on his tongue. "Well, Tamlin, she doesn't really matter anymore. Feyre is the one that killed the wolf anyway. We still have a few months left."

Before Tamlin can say anything, Rowan barged into the room. "Aelin is in trouble. We need your help, We don't know the land as well as you do."

Lucien exchanged a glance with Tamlin, silently planning with him. "I'll go with you." Lucien said, starting toward the mysterious fae. "Tamlin will stay here with Feyre." He said, leaving the room with Rowan. He looked at him with his russet eye. Rowan looked like he was staring death in the eye and was more intimidating. He looked like he would tear the world apart to find her. It made him think of his first love, how quickly he had accepted her fate. Of course if she was missing instead of dead, he would have searched the entire world for her.

"Can I ask you something? where are you from?" Lucien asked.

"Tarrasen," Rowan answered in a growl, finding the rest of his friends by the door. "Alright, Aelin is in trouble-"
"Typical. That girl can't stay safe even if you lock her in a room lined with pillows." Chaol interrupted, his reward was the looseness of Rowan's shoulders. "Don't worry, Rowan, we won't let anything happen to her."
"Careful-" Aedion interrupted, "shed cut out your tongue for those words. Aelin can take care of herself."
-
The chains were enchanted, they had to be. What else blocked her magic? Aelin watched the woman approach her with a grin she had worn herself many times.
"Is this her?" The woman asked a man next to her. Rhysand.
Aelin started mouthing something, her gaze anything but terrified.
"Aelin Ashryver Galanthyuis," Rhysand said, nodding.
"What a mouthful," the woman purred, holding up a ring with an eyeball. Aelin's brows furrowed. "What should we do to her first, Jurian?"
"Ohkay.. You're insane.." Aelin mumbled, but she shifted uncomfortable. It was the crazy ones you needed to look out for.
The woman laughed, kneeling down in front of Aelin and pulling out a dagger.

Aelin had to admit, she was slightly worried now. A shudder crept up her spine and she kept mouthing something.

"Whats that, dear? Speak up," the women said.

"My name is Aelin Ashryver Galanthyuis-" just like like Sam taught her. The woman stared at her with curiosity. "-and I will not be afraid."

"Oh, she's a cute one, Rhysand," she said before carving into her skin.

 -
Rowan was in the air, in hawk form, when he felt the pain lacing his body. His world turned black for what felt like few seconds and he was back to his human form, falling towards the ground.

Aelin. Aelin was in trouble. When he finds the person responsible, nothing will hold him back.

Something snatched him out of the air, gripping him by the shoulders and setting him down on the ground. Lysandra shifted into her human skin in front of him.
