Chapter 1 (Introduction chapter)

Stiles pov

"Ofcourse i'll be at the party", i said to Malia. She smiled in happiness and replied with "ill see ya tonight then". I nodded and waved her goodbye. Its been pretty awkward between malia and me since we broke up, since i realised she's not the one. Tonight is the poolparty of Allison Argent, one of my two best friends. Her poolparty, which is once in a year, is also known as the party of the year, because its simply the best. The whole school is invited, including the nerds. Allison is pretty smart herself and she thinks its not fair not to invite the nerds, if she does invite the rest of the school. I wonder if Scott will tell Allison how he feels about her. He has liked her for months now and I think tonight is the night. They always had some sort of connection, i think i'm the only one seeing that because they obviously don't. Thinking about how weird it would be if two of three best friends are in a relationship with each other, I hear Scott calling my name.

"Stiles!!", Scott said while jogging up to me.
"Hey whats up?", I replied with a smile.

"Nothing much, i just saw you standing still in the middle of the hallway staring at nothing again", Scott laughed "what were you thinking about?"

"Glad you asked, I was actually thinking about tonight" I said with a thoughtful face "about Allison's party you know"

"O i know, im pretty nervous to be honest" Scott said with a crack in his voice, nervously patting on his thigh

"Yeah i can see that" i laughed while pointing to his patting fingers "so i assume youre going to tell Allison how you feel tonight?" I said raising one eyebrow

He nodded looking even more nervous than he already did.

*bell ringing*

I pat his shoulder and told him he is going to be just fine, before taking off to my next class, maths. God how i hate maths. I groaned

The rest of the day went by pretty fast. My lacrosse practice went well and now it was time to get ready for the party tonight. I promised scott to come early so we could go to allison together before the party starts. We do that every year. In that way we can help her getting the house and everything ready for the party.

It was about 7 p.m. when I parked in front of Scott's house. I called him saying I was waiting outside for him and he told me it would be 2 minutes. Once he got outside i couldnt hold my laugh. You could see he was nervous from miles away. I didn't told him when he got in the car tho, it would only make him more nervous.

"Are you ready?" I asked with a little smirk on my face

"I don't know dude, what if she refuses me? It will get really awkward between the three of us, and i dont know if im ready to take that risc" he said.

I stopped smirking because you could see how serious he was. Damn how he must like this girl.

"Okay okay stop, ofcourse she won't refuse you. You're Scott freaking Mccall, captain of the lacrosse team, a very handsome lad who is insanely loyal and very caring. She would make the mistake of her life if she refuses you" i said without telling one single lie.

I see him relax a bit and nod quietly while thanking me. "Okay im ready" he said more confident

"Now that's more like it" i said taking off, headed to the girl of scott's dreams, and maybe after tonight scott's girlfriend.

We arrived at allison's 10 minutes later. I parked the car in her garage, which was empty because her father was away with the car for the weekend.

"Stiles! Scottie!!!!" I heard coming from the garagedoor.

"Hey Allison! Are you ready for tonight?" I asked

I looked over to Scott who was staring at Allison with his mouth half open. "Wow" i heard him whisper to himself a little too loud.

"Almost. So it would be great if you two could help me finish the last things" she said looking at Scott

"Of-ofcourse" Scott answered almost jogging to her, wanting to help her so bad.

I smirked inside, thinking about how fun and interesting tonight will be.

It looked pretty great inside. The tables were full with drinks and food, the living room was filled with decorations. I walked towards the backyard and saw a disco light, 3 huge musicboxes and the big pool in the middle. Everything already looked great. I had no clue why Allison wanted us to come early.

I got back inside again and i saw Scott sitting on the couch next to Allison. I tried to listen to their conversation when my ear caught another sound.

"Allison can you come to your room for a bit" i hear a girly voice saying

"W-who was that" i asked shocked. I didnt even notice there was someone else in this house.

"O i was going to introduce her to you guys when she was ready" Allison answered "and i think she is"

"I'm coming!!!" Allison yelled in the staircase, running up the stairs

I looked over to scott who was as shocked as i am. I heard giggling coming from up allison's room.

"you look beautiful babe, the boys will gasp for breath when seeing you" i hear Allison say, having problems to hear their whole conversation.

After one more giggle i see allison coming from her room, with a girl behind her. First i couldnt really see her because she was standing right behind allison. When arrived in the livingroom the girl was standing next to allison.

The girl was a little smaller than Allison. She has the most green eyes ive ever seen. I thought she had red hair but when i stared long enough i noticed it was strawberry-blonde. She was absolutely gorgeous. I noticed i stared when scott clapped his hands and i came back to reality.

"Sorry what did you say she is called?" I asked feeling my cheeks turning bright pink

"I'm Lydia" the girl herself answered "Lydia Martin"

I walked towards her helding out my hand "Stiles Stilinski, its a pleasure" i said looking straight into her eyes

"Pleasure all on me" she giggled. I saw her cheeks getting even more pink than mine were, if that was even possible

After Scott introduced himself to lydia, allison explained why she was staying at hers.

"Ive known lydia since like the third grade. She moved to Canada when we were 10 and now she's back. She is staying with me for a while because we are going to live together in a month!!" Allison said excited

The girl smiled as she caught me staring at her. God she's the most beautiful person i've ever seen
