The time always comes to say goodbye,
And I remember how hard we all would cry,
See you sometime, I don't know when,
But I do know it will be again,
Maybe soon, maybe not,
But we always promised and never forgot,
We would remind our parents, year after year,
How hard we cried, how we each shed a tear,
That we should visit soon, because we still miss one another,
How we are all like sisters and brothers,
So I pray tonight, for lots of thing, but also for you,
And the hopeful fact you will visit me this summer, is true.
You live across the ocean, 5000 miles away,
And I think about you almost everyday,
How we bonded last Christmas, we were rarely apart,
Cousins? Nah, we're siblings at heart,
One is the twin sister I always wanted but never got,
The rest are brothers and a sister whom I love a lot,
And I guess the point of this poem isn't important,
But I wanted the world to know you are worth the rant.
