Do you ever feel like you've been forgotten?
In the middle of the night?
When your heart feels broken?
And you can't tell wrong from right?
I feel like that sometimes too.
Do you ever feel worthless?
During a busy day?
When everyone passes you by?
And nothing goes your way?
I feel like that sometimes too.
Do you ever feel like your drowning?
As the rain is pouring down?
When you look up at the sky?
And you can't help but frown?
I feel like that sometimes too.
Do you ever feel like crying?
In the early morning hours?
When sleep has abandoned you?
And there's no colour in the flowers?
I feel like that sometimes too.
Do you ever feel like dying?
As a day drags by?
When everything goes wrong?
And you don't want a goodbye?
I feel like that sometimes too.
Do you ever feel like laughing?
Once you see his face?
When you know you're home?
And you win the race?
Yeah, I feel like that sometimes too.
