Chapter Four

-- Ellie's Prov --

I quickly ran upstairs without calling any attention to myself. I know me and Josh weren't together, but it still hurt.. I sat on my bed and decided to put a movie on so I could get Josh out of my mind.

-- Josh's Prov --
Lucy stopped dancing with Max and came and sat next to me. She was drunk and I was pretty tipsy too! All of a sudden she started kissing me, at first I was into it but then I started to really think what I was doing. I really liked Ellie.. I didn't wanna do this to her, so I pulled away from her and I saw Ellie run upstairs. I didn't know what to do, I didn't know if she saw us or if she just wanted to go upstairs and didn't take notice of anyone in the room. I fucked up.

-A couple days later (3 to be exact)-

-- Ellie's Prov --

I was avoiding Josh for the last couple of days. I was really hurt that he did that, I didn't really have a right to be seen as we aren't together or anything. It's a Friday and Dan apparently got us all invited to a big party at this rich guys house. All the boys know the guy but obviously me and Alex have no clue who he is.

"Come'on Ell! We're leaving for the party!" Dan shouted from the bottom of the stairs. I started to walk down the stairs realising I would actually have to be in a car with Josh, I haven't spoken to him since the other night when I saw him with Lucy. But he doesn't know I saw him, at least I don't think he did.

A couple of minutes later, we pulled up to this massive mansion filled with people on the front garden all with red plastic cups in their hands. Most of them were smoking or kissing. We all went inside, blasting music, people talking and laughing, dancing and a lot of alcohol. Just what I need! I walked off and found myself a beer, dancing away with a bunch of people dancing around me I got pulled to the edge of the dance floor.

"Hey! I was dancing!" I look up to see Gorgeous eyes staring down at me, it was Josh.

-- Josh's Prov --

She's been avoiding me ever since the night I kissed Lucy. She must have seen because she hadn't spoken to me once. I wanted to talk to her. I saw her dancing so I puller her to the edge of the dance floor.

"Hey! I was dancing!" She said looking up at me, she was very drunk. I didn't want to talk to her when she was like this, she won't remember it in the morning anyway!

"I'm gonna take you home" I said shouting over the music. I managed to get her outside, then she starting having a tantrum.

"I'm not leaving Joshua! I like it here! I love dancing!" She said giggling. "Hey! I saw you! I know what you did!" She said pointing at me. I was pretty confused. "I saw you and... Lucy" she said whispering. Crap, she saw us.

"Ell, I don't wanna talk about this now. You won't remember tomorrow!"

"No! I wanna talk about this Joshua! We aren't together but you know I felt like someone punched me in the stomach when I saw it" she said wobbling all over the place. I felt so horrible with myself, I really hurt her but it didn't mean anything.. It was just a stupid mistake!

"It was a mistake Ell!" I said, she started gripping my jacket. Trying to hold herself up. "Are you okay?!" I asked, nervously. She passed out, I caught her and picked her up. I texted the boys and told them I was taking my car to take Ellie home. I took her home and put her to bed, I had to come back to the party to pick Alex and the boys up. I went back to the party, found Alex and the boys and took them home. I didn't drink at all so I could drive them home, when everyone got home they all fell asleep and went to bed.

I checked on Ellie, when I opened the door I saw she looked at me. I smiled and she smiled back.

"Hey.." She said, slightly sitting up.

"Are you okay?" I asked sitting on the edge of her bed.

"Headachey" she said with a slight laugh. I put my hand on her cheek and rubbed her cheek in circles with my thumb. She smiled at me, she had a beautiful smile.

"If you need anything, I'm just across the hall.. Okay?" I said, taking my hand from her cheek.

"Thank you.." She replied giving me a kiss on the cheek. I walked out of the room and into my room, and got in bed.

-The Next Morning-

-- Ellie's Prov --

My head was pounding, and I was so hungry! I looked like hell, my hair was a mess and my eye makeup was down my face. I cleaned my face up, and put my hair up into a high ponytail. I walked downstairs to see everyone already downstairs, most of them were talking so I went down and sat next to Alex and spoke to her for a little while. We didn't really have anything planned for today, but Matt was taking Alex out to show her something. For the rest of the night I sat on the front of the house on the grass on my phone, just chilling. The boys would sometimes come out the house to bring me something to drink or eat or just to talk to me.

A couple hours later, it was dark and I was still sat at the front of the house, Matt's car pulled up and Alex came and sat next to me. They've just come back from wherever Matt wanted to take her.

"Hey" I said.

"Hey! Today was amazing! Matt is amazing!" She said smiling. "He took my to this spot, and you could just see the whole city.. It was so beautiful" she said, laying down on the grass looking at the stars.

"So are you two like a thing now?" I asked. I knew they'd be a great couple.

"He asked me to be his girlfriend" she said smiling.

"You said yes, right?"

"No.." She said looking at me. "I'm joking!" She started laughing. I looked at her annoyed that she said no at first.

"Well, That's great! I knew you two would date! You are both great together" I said hugging her.

"I'm so glad you're my best friend" she said smiling. "You coming inside?" I nod and we both stand up and go inside. Alex walked in front of me and walked straight to Matt and sat on his knee. Everyone looked at them and patting Matt on the back and laughing, realising that they are both together. I was just laughing at the boys.

It was pretty late and I was half asleep laid on the sofa, everyone except me, Josh, Chris and Dan went upstairs to bed. Everyone was watching a movie, however I was half asleep but I didn't want to get up and go to bed.

I felt someone put a hand under my leg and under my back, and picked me up. I looked up and saw Josh looking down at me, I was too tried to say anything. He took me up to my room and placed me on my bed, pulling a cover over me so I wasn't cold. He planted a kiss on my forehead, and stroked my hair. Soon after I was out.
