Gloria looked up from her phone and observing her surroundings as she exited the bus pulling her earbuds out her ears and she shuddered from the half expected reply. As she walked from the station she put her hands in her pockets just thinking about her summer and how wrong it went. She hmm the melody that surround her brain and clear her mind focusing on how she was going to kick butt in the next soccer game match. She was the co-captain so she was runner up to Bridget Mesler. She couldn't believe how she came up from the bottom as a rookie and now was wondering how she was almost at the top.

Groggy was the first emotion of the morning.

I hate that dumb alarm clock so much. She lifted up fumbling around for her phone as she did she knock her water bottle on the floor landing on the hardwood floor with a thwack.
She lifted herself off the bed and putting her feet on the floor scanning the floor looking at what fell seeing her water bottle roll under her bed.
She got up getting her phone of the dresser,just wondering how stupid she was reaching for something that wasn't there. She reach in her dresser pulling out a t-shirt out and some blue jeans . After putting her outfit on she raced downstairs and stole a piece of bacon grabbing her coat,car keys,ad book bag then headed to her car.
She got in car and turned on her Ipod listening to music and rolling down her window letting the wind hitting her face making her cheeks pink and numb.
Then arriving at the school all to quickly ruining her moment.
She grabbed her book bag then headed to the school doors.
When she almost arrive to locker something more like someone ran into her knocking all the air out her lungs sending her falling to the floor landing with a thud.
When she had the courage she open her eyes and saw that someone on her. Max Fineler the same thing as her an athlete the Captain of the Baseball team fell on her.
He apologized at the sometime helping her up.
"I'm so sorry,are you okay?"
"Yeah,Gloria mumbled.
He looked at her reassured that she was okay talking.
The only thing she wasn't listening any praying that no one saw this and she go one pretending this didn't happen.
"I'm Max Fineler"
"Gloria, Gloria Matthewson".
He looked at her to make sure she's fine then walked away speechless.

After the Hell they call school she headed to her practice for soccer. Slipping on her uniform she put some chapstick on so her lips wouldn't be cracked. Bridget the team Captain talk about warm ups and other events coming up. But she was else were looking at the visitor crowd were Merdith and Natalie presence as they cheered her,of course they weren't there but she miss them.
Instead an unexpected visitor Hailey McGuigan and to her side Max Fineler. Instead of looking at her uninterested boyfriend in their conversation She look at her phone and blabber on about something while he nodded while looking at Gloria smiling.
She snapped her eyes away uninterested in his smile and focus on how Riley kick the ball high and as it headed Gloria way she head butted the ball then knee it to Kandice.
Then with quick eyes she scanned for her water bottle on the bleachers.
After Practice reluctantly she went to retrieve her water bottle on the bleachers ignoring his attempt of talking to her.
Then trying to move the bleachers grabbing her belongings someone tugged her arm. Max....
