It's Her Fault

Dani's P.O.V

I decided it was time for me to see a therapist. I thought I was going crazy seeing Jade everywhere. I was going to tell Lauren about her but what if she didn't do anything? I didn't want to make a big deal out of nothing. I lied to Lauren to get her to drive me to my appointment.

"Wait, Dani why are we here? I thought you just had errands to run?"

"Look, I just need to speak to a therapist or someone who can help me figure out my thoughts that I'm having."

"Why didn't you just talk to Christina?"

"Lauren, unlock the door. I really need to go now. I have an appointment."

Lauren sighed and unlocked the door. She gave me a look of sympathy before telling me to call her when I was done.

I walked into the cool building and went to the front desk.  A woman with dark hair, pale skin, and green eyes looked up at me. Her name tag said Lauren Jauregui.

"Hi, do you have an appointment?" she asked me in a raspy voice.

"Yes. With Jesy Neslon."

"Okay, I'll let her know that your here and she should be right out. Oh and if you don't mind me asking, what is your age?"

"I'm 18, why?"

"Well Ms. Nelson is an adult therapist so I had to know-"

"Or you just wanted to be nosy."

"Excuse me?"

"Oh you're excused."

The green eyed woman shot me a dirty look and I rolled my eyes at her before I sat down in one of the uncomfortable chairs.

Not too long after  I sat down, a woman who looked to be about 5'4, medium build and long dark Brown hair comes to the door. She was wearing dark make up and had a stern look on her face.

"Danielle Cimorelli?"

"That's me," I said barely above a whisper.

I climbed to my feet and the woman shot me a smile and guided me back to her room. When we entered, the room was quite dark, except for a lamp that was on, but even that light was dim. She sat in her chair and wrote something down before she finally looked up at me and said something.

"So, what seems to be the problem?" She had a really thick British accent.

"Well I think I might be going crazy. See, my sister met this girl and I automatically got a bad feeling about her. And then bad things started happening. Anytime something bad does happen, she's right there, or at least I think she is."

She looked at me for about ten more seconds before writing something else down on her paper.

"So what I'm hearing is that, this woman is popping up every time something happens and you believe she is behind all of this?"

"Yes. But she is really good friends with my sister and I don't want to hurt their relationship. I mean, what if I'm overreacting?"

"But what if you aren't? What if she is up to something?"

"I don't know!? I came here to talk to you so you could help me with that."

"I believe you need to go with your first mind. If telling your sister will help to get this off your chest and out of your mind, you should do it."

"So that's all? Just tell her?"

She nodded and smiled before writing something else on her paper.

"What are you writing?"

"I'm taking notes. So, what else has been bothering you?"

Lauren's P.O.V

I was on my way to pick Dani up and I decided to stop and get gas. After filling up Amy's car, I borrowed it because Chris's truck is in the shop now, I headed to where she was.

When I pulled up, she was already outside, looking a bit fustrated.

"Hey Dan, what happened in there?"

"I have to tell you something Lauren. Lets go to the park or something."

"Alright then."

I was really curious as to what she had to say to me. I really hoped this wasn't about what happened with us that one time...

When I parked the car, Dani jumped out and began walking to a bench. I jogged a little to catch up to her and sat next to her on the bench.

"So, what's on your mind sis?"

"Jade killed Charles and she fucked up Christina's truck."

"Dani what the fuck!?"

"Look, every time something bad happens, I see her. She's always there!"

"Dani I understand that you and I don't hang out like we used to because I met Jade but, you need to just chill out dude."

"I need to chill out!? Lauren you're hanging with a psychopath who is trying to pick off all of us one by one. She wants you to herself and won't stop until she gets what she wants, you."

"Dani, you sound crazy. Those things that happened have nothing to do with Jade. She's a sweet person, maybe a bit standoffish, but sweet. She hasn't given me a reason not to trust her."

"Why do I even bother? The psychiatrist told me I should tell you about my concerns and here you are, pushing them under the rug like I'm a crazy person or something!"

"You are crazy if you think she's trying to hurt all of you guys just to get to me!"

"She's taking away everything that we love until she finally takes away something big, you. She's toying with us and I don't understand why you don't see it!"

"Can we just go home. Mom is going to be home from work soon and I forgot to clean up so lets go and just drop the conversation."

"Fine Lauren. Fine!"

Dani got up and rushed off to the car. I followed and unlocked the doors so she could get in. The ride home was silent and all Dani did at dinner was mug me. I don't know what she has against Jade, but honestly she needs to chill.
