Kisses and Bass

Katherine's P.O.V

All of my sisters were out of the house except Dani and Lauren. They still won't speak to each other and it's really starting to concern me. Amy told me that I wasn't leaving the house as much anymore and that I should get out more.  I can't. It just feels like there's something out there that wants to hurt me. Or wants me dead.

I was reading a book but I got tired of that and decided that I would practice on Rick, my bass. I grabbed the case, it felt light so I unzipped it and it wasn't in there.

"Goddamn it," I silently cursed to myself before I looked through my closet and under my bed.

I galloped down the stairs and looked around the house. Still no sign of Rick. What the hell happened to him then? I must've left him in my car!

I grabbed my keys and went to check my car. There was still no sign of my bass. I wonder if any of my sister's know where I put him, even though I could've swore I put him back in his case. Dani and Lauren are here, maybe they know where he is.

Lauren's P.O.V

I was writing in my journal when Dani came into the room, smiling at me.

"What? Why are you smiling like that?"

"Is Jade here?"

"No, why?"

"Well good. Now we can actually be alone and talk."

"Okay. What's on your mind sis?"

"Do you still love me?"

"Of course I do, you're my sister."

"Prove it. Lets do what we used to do when we were-"

"No Dani. Remember, Katherine and Amy said it was wrong. We can't do that anymore."

"Fuck that. Lets just do it. They don't have to know. Besides, they don't understand us or our relationship."

Dani leaned in and kissed me before I could push her off of me.

"Ew Dani what the-"

I turned my head to see Katherine standing in my door way, a shocked look on her face.

"Kath, this isn't what it looks like," Dani choked out.

"It was an accident!" I shouted before Katherine just turned around and went back to her room.

"We are gonna be in so much trouble if she says anything about this," I snapped at Dani.

"They don't understand us. It doesnt matter, our relationship-"

"Dani I already told you, we're sister's! We can't do what we used to do or whatever you said anymore."

"But you're not just my sister, you're my friend."

"Jade is my friend! You are my sister! Stop trying to make us something we aren't Dani!"

Dani looked hurt by my words. But that look quickly faded as it turned into anger.

"You know what? Fine! Have her then Lauren. When she does some weird, crazy, voodoo shit on you, don't come back to me! And remember, I tried to get close to you again."

Dani left out of the room and stomped down the stairs. I heard the front door slam shut and I exhaled deeply. Damnnit, why cant I just have the both of them?

Katherine's P.O.V

I sat in my room and tried to process what I had just saw. Were they kissing? Even after Amy and I told them that wasn't something that sister's do? Why would they do that? Whatever, I needed to find my bass.

I looked around the house one more time and then I remembered, I never looked in the basement. We hardly ever went down there, but it was worth the try.

I slowly made my way down the basement stairs, careful not to trip on any of the stairs. I flipped the light switch on and started looking around for my bass. I swear I heard something or someone move behind me. I shook it off and went into the room that was connected to the main room in the basement to look around. Nothing. Damnit where did I put it!?

I angrily walked out of the room and tried to make my way back up the stairs, but I tripped and fell, hard. I got up and a sharp pain shot through my right leg. I fell again and tried to get up AGIAN but the lights flickered and went out. I heard shuffling behind me as I lay on the stairs and I instantly hopped up, ignoring the pain I was feeling.

"Lauren!" I yelled as loud as I could up the stairs.

I tried to hop up the stairs but a pair of hands grabbed me and pulled me to the ground.

"Ahhh-" I screamed, but my scream was quickly muffled by another hand.

"I got her. We need to get one more and that's it," I heard someone with a thick british accent say before I was knocked unconsious.

This is short but relax, I have a longer chapter coming up. Now as you know, I don't do long stories, so this book is coming to an end soon. But trust me, it's gonna end with a bang. Peace ✌✌
