In a mansion, up the double staircase, and in the back of the hallway, lied a teenage boy. The teenage boy had woken up from a nightmare. He was shaking and tempted to scream, but no sound would escape his mouth.

The poor boy, known as Cole, was shocked. His dream had been about his mother screaming for him to wake up. Where as his father was nowhere to be found, nor seen.

"Cole!" His mom, Stephenie screamed from somewhere in the house. Cole rubbed his eyes and sat up quickly, jumping out of his bed. He checked the clock to see that it was almost three in the morning.

Cole rubbed his eyes once more. He was so sleeply and out of it, that the poor young boy didn't realize his bedroom door was smoking.

Another scream from his mother woke him into straight relization. His eyes widened as he saw smoke coming from underneath his bedroom door, followed by another scream.

Cole yelled back. "Mom?!" He screamed in panic. "Mom where are you?!" The boy started coughing as he---

A knock was heard of Cole's bedroom door. He had to stop himself from almost sobbing and sat up, staring at the door.

He quickly got up out of bed and opened the door, but looked down, so that his bangs covered his puffy eyes.

"Cole?" Asked Oly. Cole nodded. From behind Cole's bangs, Oly flashed a shy smile. "I can't sleep." He answered. His smile stopped when he noticed Cole's eyes. Even covered beneath black bangs anyone could tell the raven had been almost crying.

Oly froze for another second, before letting himself in and closing Cole's bedroom door. Oly turned to Cole with a worried expression. "What's wrong?" He asked. Cole looked up at Oly, his eyes no longer hidden under his bangs. The black haired boy shrugged and went over to his bed, sitting on it.

He got out his notebook, which he now kept on his stand beside his bed.

Cole took a pencil off the rings of the notebook and began to write.

He quickly wrote; I had a nightmare. Onto the paper and held the notebook in the air.

Oly understood the message and quickly walked over as Cole handed the notebook to Oly.

He read it and looked at me for a second, then he sat on the bed.

He crossed his legs and faced me, before asking,

"Do you have nightmares often?" Oly seemed to be really interested.

I shook my head. I grabbed the notebook (which he had layed down in front of him, along with the pencil) and started writing my response.

No, in fact they're very rare for me. I showed him the message and he nodded his head.

He leaned closer to me and whispered.

"Well, the next time you do, come to my room." He smiled at me.

I looked at him, and nodded.

Will do.
