Oly looked at the message and then back towards Cole. "Why not fully?" He asked. Cole began to write again, and gave the notebook to Oly.
You seem to be the type of person that receives automatic trust, and that is someone who is loyal. I can not trust you fully because we only met days ago, however you do have some trust from me.
Oly looked at Cole. "So, if you do stay," He started. "Then you're saying you will trust me more?" He stared at Cole for the answer. He leaned in even more towards Cole, and Cole unconsciously gulped but nodded.
Oly blushed lightly apon sudden realization at how close their faces were. He immediately backed away and nodded himself. He glanced away. "Okay..."
Cole looked at him in confusion. What's wrong? He wrote on the paper. Oly shook his head. "It's nothing." He answered.
Cole gave him a confused look, knowing that he was lying. But, he decided not to ask any questions and instead the two began cleaning up the cards.
Once they were done, Oly put them back on Cole's little stand by his bed. He turned to Cole, flashed him a bright smile, and asked him if he wanted to get a snack.
Cole agreed and got up from the floor, he had been hungry for about an hour now, but didn't say anything.
He feared to ask anyone for help, but would accept help if they offered.
They walked down the double stair case, which was still it's beautiful marble that he silently awed at every time he went down them.
When they reached the kitchen, they didn't expect to see Oly's mom baking.
"Mom?" Oly asked in a bit of a surprised tone. "How long have you been home?"
Jen smiled at them and replied. "I've been here for half an hour, why?" She asked as she began to set a timer for her cupcakes.
Once she set it, she turned to us for an answer. Oly looked back at Cole, who just looked at the ground in thought.
"We came down here to get a snack, and thought we were home alone." Oly explained.
Jen nodded. "Sorry to disappoint you." She joked, and Oly and her shared a laugh.
"To be honest, I didn't expect you two either." She continued. "I figured you guys would go to the park or visit the aquarium." Cole perked up almost immediately.
He got his notebook out, and began to write. The aquarium? I love that place. I forgot we even had one here. He wrote, handing it to Oly and Jen.
They read it, and Oly's mother smiled. "If you love the aquarium so much, you and Oly should go tomorrow." She looked at Oly, then Cole.
Cole just nodded, but on the inside he was practical jumping with joy. "Okay," Oly agreed.
Jen looked at them again, and then glanced at her timer. "Weren't you guys getting a snack?" She asked.
"Oh yeah!" Oly exclaimed, completely forgetting why they had come down here in the first place.
His mom just laughed. She pointed over at a small brown cabinet, that had a label saying 'snack cabinet'.
Oly walked over to it, with Cole trailing behind him. He opened the cabinet, and began looking for a snack.
Oly settled for peanut butter crackers, while Cole got an apple. They both went back upstairs without a word, and once again went into Cole's room.
