"What're you gonna wear?," Jin pulled a nice, simple shirt from Jimin's closet.
"I don't know. Is it gonna rain or anything?"
"It shouldn't," Jin put the shirt back and turned to the younger, "Why are you moping?"
"Because," Jimin sat up and messed up his hair, "I don't want to like him, but I can't help myself."
"That's it?! Aish, you're so complicated sometimes."
"I'm sorry hyung," Jimin let his legs hang off the side of the bed, "I just...I don't want a repeat of the past. It's scary to think about it."
Jin sighed and put his arm around the younger's shoulders, "Look, I know you went through a lot, but you can't lock yourself away because of it. You'll miss out on so much."
"I know, but the fear of it happening again....it's hard to not pay attention to it."
"I understand," the older pushed Jimin's bangs out of his eyes, "But Jungkook seems like a nice person. Stubborn, but nice. What's one date gonna hurt at this point?"
The younger looked to his lap and shrugged, "I don't guess it'll hurt at all."
"Great," Jin jumped back up to his feet, "So, get up. We have to find the perfect outfit for you."

"Really SeokJin?," Jimin looked himself over in the mirror once more.
It was Saturday and Jungkook was going to be there any second.
"I'll kill him if I get murdered," Jimin mumbled and moved out to the kitchen. He wanted something sweet to snack on.
He found a candy bar that was stuffed in the back of the fridge.
Just after he opened the wrapper and took a big bite, three knocks hit the front door.
Jimin swallowed that bite then quietly made his way towards the door.
"Okay, Jimin, it's fine. He's been here before, this isn't a big deal."
The omega opened the door and was met with Jungkook's smile.
"Hey," the alpha breathed out.
"Hi," Jimin gave him a small smile, "Um...you can...come in and sit down. I...need to go find my shoes."
"Okay," Jungkook nodded and followed Jimin inside. The alpha stopped in the living room though, letting the omega go to his bedroom alone.
'Aish, he's so adorable,' the alpha thought as he took a look around.
Dirty dishes were piled up in the sink and coffee mugs were all over the apartment. The omega really stopped taking care of things after he left.
Maybe something happened and that's why Jimin was acting so differently.
"Okay, I'm ready," Jimin came back, shoes on and phone shoved in his front pocket.
"Leave your wallet, I'm paying for today," Jungkook said.
"No, you don't have to do that," Jimin shook his head.
"I know, but I am," Jeon reached into the omega's back pocket and grabbed his wallet, throwing it to the couch.
"Jungkook-"
"Don't worry about it," the alpha waved it off, "Let's go. You look adorable by the way."
"Huh? Oh, yeah, Seok Jin really likes to dress me up."
At that, the alpha stopped and turned back to face the omega, "What?"
"Seok Jin picked out my clothes-"
"Who's that?," Jungkook's voice was deeper and he seemed upset.
"He's...an omega that I work with," Jimin spoke slowly, afraid of how Jung's eyes glowed red.
But then, just as quickly as it came, Jungkook's anger disappeared, "Oh, an omega. Is he your best friend?"
"Mhm," the older nodded, "Um...why don't we get going?"
"Oh, yeah," Jungkook chuckled at himself a bit and started to lead the way out of Jimin's apartment.

"You said you don't like fancy places, so I hope pizza's okay," Jungkook looked to Jimin, who sat nervously in the passenger seat.
"Yeah, that's fine. It's an easy first date, too," Jimin managed a small smile, even though his mind wasn't thinking of something happy.
"I thought so too," Jungkook looked back to the road.
It was quiet for a while, then Jimin reached over and turned on the radio.
A Big Bang song came on and they both hissed out a 'yes'.
They glanced at one another then laughed as the song filled the silence.

"So~," Jin slid his hand across the counter as he walked up to Jimin, "How did it go?"
"Um...it was...nice actually," Jimin handed a customer their food and thanked them for coming.
"Where did he take you?"
"Out for pizza."
"Oh, that's your favorite! He's so good to you Jiminie!"
"Hyung," the younger sighed, "Don't start that. I'm trying to not like him."
"What's wrong with it? Huh? He's an alpha that cares for you, cares about you even, and is stubborn as a mule when you say no to being with him."
"It's nothing wrong with him. Jungkook's great....perfect. But I just can't trust alphas anymore."
"Jimin," SeokJin sighed, "You can't live life that way. It's not fun first of all, and more importantly it isn't healthy."
"I know, but...I can't, hyung, you know that."
"No, I know that you won't. If there's nothing wrong with Jungkook then I don't see why you aren't mated to him."
"Hyung-"
"You're my dongsaeng and it's my job to take care of you. You aren't happy, Jimin. I can tell, but when that alpha comes in you are immediately better."
"No I'm not," Jimin protested, "When I'm around him I can't breathe, I act weird, and my entire body tenses up."
"Because you like him!"
"Sh!," Jimin covered his hyung's mouth.
Seokjin rolled his eyes then walked off, moving towards a table where someone had called for him.
