We made that girl cry together
Denying her the right to toggle our creations
To destroy our hard work
We played with the marbles, four different colors
As she sobbed beneath the hickory table
She deserved it after all
Gazing out the window, it was a pleasant day
We trekked outside to the grassy hill
She quietly taught me how to make flower crowns
Weaving a simple masterpiece
But they were weeds disguised
