Black on Pastel <Vkook>

2. Taehyung

The smell of fresh cigarettes filled the room. Loud rock music played from the speaker. Taehyung was cleaning up after having friends over to help him hang up his new additions to his apartment. A new painting and 3 new prints. The painting by itself hung near the window while the prints rested in frames along the back wall.
The prints came from an artist at the flee market just a few blocks away.
He had gotten the painting in a giveaway that an artist he followed on tumblr had created. His name was Jeon Jungkook and he was easily Taehyung's favorite artist. The way he used the color black against so many shades of all different colors ranging from soft pastel to bright fluorescent. His work was beautiful and Taehyung was in love with his art, even though he had never seen the artists face. He never showed it in any pictures. He would hold a canvas in front of his face so it wouldn't be seen. Taehyung thought that was strange.
He was able to get the painting because Jungkook had just recently moved to New York and did a giveaway to celebrate his new move in. Taehyung happened to be the lucky winner and was elated when the beautifully colored art was mailed to his door. Now, the large canvas was hung in his lounge area for him to see everyday.

Suddenly, his phone buzzed with a text message. He looked to see it was from his friend Hoseok who was just here to help him hang Jungkook's painting not too long ago.

Did you hear about that art show tomorrow at that museum by your place? There was a sign outside when I walked home. Thought you'd be interested.

Taehyung was, in fact, interested. He was at art shows or museums or festivals all the time. He was fascinated with all types of art. He loved seeing what masterpieces people create. He never missed an opportunity to go to something lie this. He'd be there. He'd definitely be there.
