Solution (& explaining) of the second exercise

Soo this is the solution with the explanation of the second exercise ( of the reading and writing )

The basic (like always):

ㄱ= k
ㄴ= n
ㄷ= d
ㄹ=r/l
ㅁ= m
ㅂ= b
ㅅ= s
ㅇ (look at chapter with the explaining of the ㅇ)
ㅈ= j
ㅊ=ch
ㅎ= h

ㅣ = i
ㅏ = a
ㅓ = eo
ㅡ = eu
ㅜ = u
ㅗ = o

A word consists of a consonant and a vowel
(first the consonant and then the vowel)

First:

1. A gi

A=아 (look at explanation with the ㅇ)
G=ㄱ + i = ㅣ =>기
아+기=아기
A gi=아기=baby

2. 식당

ㅅ=s + ㅣ=i + ㄱ=g =>sig
ㄷ=d + ㅏ=a + ㅇ=ng (look again at the explaining of the ㅇ) =>dang
식당=sig dang=restaurant

3. Mul

M=ㅁ + u=ㅜ + l=ㄹ =>물
Mul=물=water

4. 고마워

ㄱ=G + ㅗ=o => go
ㅁ=m + ㅏ=a =>ma
워 =>woe
고마워=go ma woe=thank you (informal)

5. Go gu ma

G=ㄱ + o=ㅗ => 고
G=ㄱ + u=ㅜ =>구
M= ㅁ + a=ㅏ => 마
Go gu ma=고구마=sweet potato

6. 친구

ㅊ=ch + ㅣ=i + ㄴ=n => chin
ㄱ=g + ㅜ=u =gu => gu
친구=chingu=friend

7. Meo ri

M=ㅁ + eo=ㅓ =>머
R=ㄹ + i=ㅣ =>리
Meori=머리=head

8. 고기

ㄱ=g + ㅗ=o =>go
ㄱ=g + ㅣ=i => gi
고기=gogi=meat

9. Mom
M=ㅁ + o=ㅗ + m=ㅁ =>몸
Mom=몸=body

10. 사진

ㅅ=s + ㅏ=a =>sa
ㅈ=j + ㅣ=i + ㄴ=n =>jin
사진=sajin=picture

11. Shik mul

S(h)=ㅅ + i=ㅣ + k/g=ㄱ =>식
M=ㅁ + u=ㅜ + l/r=ㄹ =>물
Shik (here it is shik) mul=식물=plant

12. 신발

ㅅ=s + ㅣ=i + ㄴ=n =>sin (but here it is spoken as shin)
ㅂ=b + ㅏ=a + ㄹ=l =>bal (and here it is spoken as l and not as r too)
신발=shinbal=shoes

13. Don

D=ㄷ + o=ㅗ + n=ㄴ =>돈
Don=돈=money

14. 하늘

ㅎ=h + ㅏ=a =>ha
ㄴ=N + ㅡ=eu +ㄹ=l =>neul
(in this case it is pronounced as l not as r)
하늘=haneul=sky
