New Beginnings Volume I - The Hunt

Wrong Turn

      I felt an agonizing pain on my left wrist, then it all quickly started to darken. I could hear shouts and voices but I couldn't understand a thing. It all became black. I felt the pain of hitting the cold floor and then I passed out.
Lydia : "Hanna!" she said and rushed to the place I was lying.
Unknown : "You came just in time ... " the man said with a creepy smile on his face. Malia jumped to hit him but he basically disappeared into thin air and reappeared knocking her down and holding her with his foot, pointing a wolfsbane loaded gun at her. Trying to transform would be useless, and such unconscious moves will only gain you death.
Derek : " Who are you?! And what do you want?" he said holding himself from ripping the guy's throat.
Unknown : [chuckles] "I'm your worst nightmare. The question would be why are you here? In my house. "
Liam : "What do you want from us ?! Why did you kidnapped us?!" he said snapping at the guy. Right that instant the creep shot Liam's leg. "I told you - no bravery acts or there'll be consequences."
       Slowly my senses started to come back. I opened my eyes for a couple of moments and was shocked to see, or beter said not to see!
Lydia : "Hanna?! Hanna, can you hear me? We have to take her to a hospital!"
Unknown : "No one is leaving the room, unless it's a dead body."
Scott : "She's dying." The man started to walk towards me. They were all pumped, ready to take this guy on if he tried something. My left arm was basically lying in a blood puddle. He brushed his fingers through the bloody floor and sniffed slowly but then looked surprised, like it was no what he was expecting. But then he sniffed again. "Fae sangue" he said cracking a frightening grin.
Stiles : "Let us go!"
Scott : "We know who you are, and what you are!" the guy remained unmoved. "And we know about Vanessa!" those words made his eyes widen. He quickly raised and in a blink of a moment he was standing in front of Scott. Only a couple of inches were separating them. " Don't . You. Ever. Say. That. Name . Again! You don't know anything!" he yelled angered.
Lydia : "Please! You have to let us take them to the hospital." she said almost begging. He then walked and opened a drawer from an old piece of furniture and pulled out a first aid kit. He slammed it at Lydia's feet. She hurried to clean and bind up my wound.
Scott : "We need professional help". Lydia removed the bandage to replace it with a new one and right then her eyes widened and she slowly backed off. They were all stunned to see my wound actually healing. But Collins looked more frightened than surprised. With his lips trembling he barely got the words out :
Colling : "yee .... yee naaldlooshii!" he said almost impossible to hear and then took off.
Stiles : "How... what did ... "
Scott : " We don't have time. We need to take her to a hospital and Liam to Deaton." Scott reached out for Liam but he refused.
Liam : "I'm fine ..." he said and tried to walk but fell. Scott grabbed him and and helped him stand up. They placed me on the backseat, with my head resting on Lydia's legs. Scott, Liam, Kira and Malia took Stiles' jeep which Scott and Liam used to get here, while Stiles took the pasenger's seat in Derek's car again. I opened my eyes to see a static room, with a strong scent of drugs. I realizedI was in the hospital. Lydia was watching out the window with a blank look.
Lydia : "Hey! You're awake." she said trying to smile.
Hanna : "How long was I ... out ?"
Lydia : "For about half an hour. But the doctors said you're okay and they're going to let you go home." Right that instant the door opened revealing Stiles and Derek.
Stiles : "Hey! You're up! How are you ? Are you ok ?" he said walking to my bed, his face showing a worried and also relieved expression. Derek just closed his eyes and let out a relief sigh.
Hanna : "Yeah ... I'm fine." I said looking at my wrist. "Seems like it wasn't that bad, it's actually almost impossible to see." I said slightly smiling. "Guess the fairy tricks did their job." It was the first time to actually say it out loud. I think I was starting to accept the idea of me beeing a supernatural creature, especially when it spared me from bleeding to death. "Oh, seems like someone is up already." a woman with dark hair stated as she walked into the room. "Your results look fine. You may go home whenever you want."
Hanna : " Umm, thanks ..."
"Melissa McCall."
Hanna : "You're .. "
Melissa : "Scot's mom, yes."
Hanna : "Thank you Melissa."
Melissa :" You welcome. Now if you'll excuse me I've got other patients waiting." she said and left the room.
Lydia : "I've picked some clothes on our way from your place."

Hanna : "Thanks." I said rising from the bed.

Lydia : "Ok, we'll be out if you need anything." I nooded and watched them leave the room. After I changed we left hospital heading for the parking lot.
Hanna : "Oh, wait. I've left my phone inside."
Sitles : "I'll get it for you."
Hanna : "Thanks." I said smiling. He smiled back and walked back inside. "So ... what was the deal with that guy anyway ?" My question made both of them to quickly turn their look towards me.
Lydia : "He was a psycho. "
Hanna : " I know that, but I mean with the arrow." Then they realized they never actually got to find out anything about it.
Lydia : "We don't know ... we don't even know where he is. You know it's strange ... "
Hanna : "What ?" Her tone aroused my curiosity.
Lydia : " He clearly wanted you dead. And maybe all of us that were witnesses. But in the last second he said somehing and ran away terrified."
Hanna : "Why ?"
Lydia : "I don't know."
Stiles : "Got it!" he said and handed me the phone.
Derek drove me home and as I was getting out of the car Stiles stopped me for a moment.
Stiles : "You sure you don't want us to stay with you tonight ? "
Hanna : "I'm fine. If I frightened a hunter to death I think I can take care of myself." Derek and Lydia chuckled at my words. It was strange to see Derek doing it, thought it brought me a pleasant feeling.
Stiles : "Just call if you need anything, ok ?"
Hanna : "Ok." I said and walked away. They took off a few moments after I got inside. I took a long bath and then went directly to bed. Even thought I was out cold for 30 minutes I still felt tired.
Stiles : "Are we really leaving her alone, just like that?" Derek gave him a look that said "You really fell for that?" and parked the car near.
Lydia : "Now what ? "
Derek : "We wait."
Stiles : "For what ?"
Derek sighed and turned his face to him. "For them to come after her. "
