Jordan gave one last at the dead cyborg, then turned back to Bethany. Bethany had a shocked look on her face that Jordan could understand. None of them were used to the violence of Earthrealm, and they weren't going to like it anytime soon.
"Are you alright?" Jordan asked, out of breath and covered in blood.
"Y-yeah," Bethany breathed.
"Good," Jordan remarked, happily. "By the way, we've been trying to find you all day."
"Well, you found me, so we can get out of this hellhole," Bethany grimaced.
The two of them carried themselves over to the rest of the group, making a group of seven. They pushed their way through the shocked crowd as Jordan kept a blank expression. Finally, Bethany had been rescued, and, as she had said, they could find their way home.
However, Sonya explained that the entire world had been affected like this, and that they were going to need to trigger a portal. She called off the search, and sighed. Once they got back to camp, they would have to find out how to reopen the portal that sent the Fryes here.
Trekking once more through the swamp, Jordan checked to see if the two halves of Jack's body were still where he found them. He peered through the undergrowth, and, sure enough, they had been untouched. Deciding that Jack deserved to rest in peace, he dragged the body over to a shallow dip in the ground and covered it, hoping that it would be left alone to decay. As Jordan turned away after paying his respects, he heard yet another familiar scream. Good God, Jordan thought. This day just keeps getting crazier and crazier.
Everyone else had heard the screaming as well, and Jordan lead them to where the sound had been heard. They entered another clearing, and saw another fight happening. But this time, the familiar face was the first face Jordan had ever laid eyes on; his mom.
Paula was being confronted by a giant. It made an earsplitting roar, shaking the world around it. Then, something became visible on it's back. A little girl was riding the beast, with a terrifying smirk on her face.
"Torr wants get to the good part!" she shouted. "Stomp and smash, Torr!"
"No!" Jordan, being brave again, stepped in to protect his mother. He knew full well this was a battle he wasn't going to win, but he'd rather have died a hero than lived a coward.
"Jordan, don't!" Paula was shouting at him, but he refused to listen. This thing was bloodthirsty, and not willing to give up satisfying its need to spare an innocent woman.
"It's all right, Mom," Jordan looked back to her, smiling. "At least you'll still be alive."
Jordan didn't even try to fight as the monster grabbed the back of his head, and slammed him into the ground. Jordan began to lose feeling as he was thrown into the air and punched in the rib cage, shattering it. The imp girl ran up, jumped and stabbed him in the face. Jordan fell to the ground, surprised he was still alive, and managed to find the strength to stand up, and turn to face Paula once more. The first he ever saw would be the last, or would it?
In the distance, he saw the ghost of a figure he recognized, yet couldn't quite make out. It was shouting in horror, and Jordan began to recognize the face, as time began to slow. The face was yet another he had high regards for, Markiplier. Why was Jordan seeing all these people he respected? Was he imagining it this time? A dark red figure appeared behind Mark, and consumed him as Jordan was picked up by his arms and turned to face the the creature, but closing his eyes. He felt a blade stabbing into his forehead, slicing him straight down the middle. Jordan began screaming in agony, and behind it, heard the cries of his siblings and mother as they witnessed the murder.
Paula was on her knees, in tears, as she watched the creature that had just tormented her threw the sliced halves of her firstborn to the ground, as blood filled the creek and stained the ground. As Ferra/Torr walked away, Paula scrambled over to the body, and collapsed.
