Finding Mileena wasn't easy. They had to find the pathway to Outworld to find her, and they couldn't. Johnny Cage had been there many times, luckily enough, so the trek was a lot less stressful. However, Jordan was dreading the possible outcomes. Mileena could tear him apart, just like the first time, or he could successfully get his revenge, and they'd be on their way home. Either way, Jordan was extremely nervous.
Outworld was a dark, hot, and hellish landscape, filled with demonic beasts. Each member of the two families worked together to survive the vicious trials and turmoils. Hellbeasts, demons, you name it. There were a plethora of enemies to be fought, and every battle had been won.
But then came the insane empress.
"Well, well," Mileena giggled as she approached the families. "Jordan, it seems your skills have grown enough for me to even have fun killing you."
"This time, I'll be killing you," Jordan stepped forward, readying himself.
"We'll see about that," Mileena smiled.
It was a flurry of fists and blood, as fast paced battle ensued. Mileena jumped, throwing her feet out in front of her, kicking Jordan's face. He recoiled, but quickly recovered, and as she landed, he drew his sword and swept her feet out from underneath her. Jordan raised his sword to go for the finishing blow, but Mileena rolled to the side, dodging it. She pulled herself to her feet, and charged at Jordan, who pivoted to the side, grabbed the back of her neck, and threw her to the ground. Jordan slammed his foot down on her stomach, knocking the wind out of her. Now Jordan had created a disadvantage for her.
Mileena stood up, gasping for breath, but Jordan was fast, and grabbed her neck, choking her. After what seemed like the longest ten seconds of Jordan's life, still not sure if he was doing the right thing, he let her go. She began gasping for breath even harder, and was coughing. Now was Jordan's chance.
Jordan took a deep breath he felt a huge adrenaline rush. This was his chance. After this, the dream would be over, the family would be safe again. Everything would go back to normal.
Jordan drew his sword one last time, and sliced through Mileena's shoulder, curving inward towards her stomach. He drew the sword from her body, pivoted to face her back, and sliced through her other shoulder, splitting her apart. Mileena fell over, and her torso disconnected from her legs. Blood spilled out, staining the ground even further. Jordan stood there, head down, breathing heavily, beginning to calm down.
I did it. Jordan thought, relieved. I won.
Paula ran over to him and buried herself into his body, wrapping her arms around him. Jordan's expression softened, knowing that even if he did something that was against his morals, he would still be accepted. And now, they were going to be alright. However, if Mileena was the key to ending the dream, why hadn't it ended yet?
Jordan realized, he had time to say goodbye.
"So, that's it then," Jordan smiled. "Guess this is goodbye."
"Yeah," Johnny Cage seemed unnaturally proud. "Here's a piece of advice to keep with you, if you want it."
"Whaddya got?" Jordan was curious now. Johnny Cage was not the kind of guy who gave advice. He was an actor, not a mentor.
"Stay strong, and nothing will stop you, ya crazy bastard," Johnny had a joking smile on his face, but Jordan knew he was serious.
"I will, but that last part just isn't me," Jordan joked.
There was a split second silence, then Johnny broke out into hysterical, uncontrollable laughter.
Jordan was proud of himself, and smiled to himself as the world began to fade, and sounds began to blend.
Jordan jolted awake, and realized he was only dreaming! Shocked, Jordan started laughing. That was the most breathtaking dream he'd ever had!
"Woah!"
He ran upstairs, filled with energy that he hadn't had since he was a little kid. Everyone else was running downstairs to the living room where Jordan was, laying down on the couch, and cheering like a crazy person.
"So we were actually sharing the same dream!" Cierra shouted gleefully.
"How was that possible?!" Isaac yelled.
Bethany flopped on top of Jordan, who in response, rolled over, taking them both onto the floor, laughing, causing everyone to laugh. Michael, the father of the house, came into the living room, wondering what was going on.
"What's going on in here?" he asked, chuckling.
"We did a thing!" Bethany cheered.
"What did you do?" Michael asked. "Hit three million subscribers already?"
"No, unfortunately," Jordan stood up, laughing. "Let me explain."
The night before had been tiresome. Someone had been up late at night, editing videos, posting them, talking to friends on Skype, and reading the hundreds upon thousands of comments he'd received on the last video. After he was done, he sat back in his chair, rubbing tired eyes. He put his glasses on, and headed to bed. Sitting on his bed, however, was his beautiful girlfriend.
"Let me guess," she teased. "More views than PewDiePie again?"
"Why do you care, Signe?" he asked. "You don't follow my channel activity, but yeah, unfortunately. You'd think Felix gets the most views, but nope."
"Just relax with me, Sean," Signe patted the bed beside her and blinked seductively.
"Alright."
Sean lied down next to her, and they were immediately locked in a passionate kiss. However, neither of them saw the ominous red figure standing behind Sean.
It brushed its fingers along Sean's spine, causing him to flinch and pull away from the kiss.
"Jack," Signe asked conufused. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah," Jack assured her. "Just thought I felt something."
The next morning, the day started rather odd.
Jack jolted awake, and accidentally woke up Signe.
"Aw, man."
