Chapter 21: Red's concern

Red

The party was amazing last night, although Dad became drunk and pretty much destroyed the party. Snoutlout helps me to escort the Chief to the Haddock Household. "Man, I didn't know that Stoick would be that drunk." He said as I opened the door. "Well, it was completely dangerous. It's a good thing that the Dragons didn't set the whole Hall on fire." Snoutlout laughs at the comment. I smiled at him and looked at the house. "This is goodnight then." I said. He smiles and hugs me. "Goodnight, Bugaboo." Bugaboo? I never had a nickname from my boyfriend before. "Bugaboo?" I asked in curious grin. He was embarrassed and asked, "Was that too much?" I laughed at the Viking. "No, it's great! It just took me by surprise that's all." I explained. I went inside and went to bed with Beauty.

Hiccup

I woke up. Where am I? It seems to be morning all ready and Astrid was siting with someone. She laughs at him. "So wait, you tried to do what?" "Pick up a berry and it was not the best idea since the Changewings lived there, learnt that the hard way." I said, "Astrid!" They saw me and Astrid said, putting her hands on her waist, "About time you woke up. Dagur is making breakfast." I looked at the Viking and I realized she must in danger! "Run, Astrid, that's Dagur! He's going to turn us to the Hunters!" Dagur and Astrid looked at one other and suddenly bursting in laughter! "What's so funny?" I asked the two Vikings. "You are, Hiccup." Dagur replies, "Astrid told me you would act like this last night." Astrid smiles at him, "I told you so. So, what shall we do? I don't have Stormfly with me and Toothless is still knocked out." Dagur thought for a moment and then said, "How about you sent a Terror mail to Red? I bet she and the other Riders would come for you guys." "Wait, what about you?" She asks with concerned look. "I'll be fine. Besides you would back me up anyway, in case they attack." She giggles, "You're probably right." Steam gurgled and Dagur said, "I'll get it!" He rushes towards it while I walked towards my girlfriend. "Am I dreaming, or is Dagur acting all nice?" Astrid giggles at my confusion. "You're not dreaming, Hic. He's helping us. I trust him." I couldn't believe what she said. "You trust him?!? Astrid, are you insane? He tried to kill us and he even tried to kill Toothless for Thor's sake!" Astrid said, "Hiccup, he's trying to mend his mistakes. Would you at least give him a chance? He even took care of Toothless for you." I was amazed at his change of heart. "Wow." I managed to say.

Red

I woke up and I saw Dad groaning, "Morning, Rebecca." "Hey, Dad. You are so overboard last night." I replied. He blushed and rubbed his head, "Really? Was I too embarrassing?" I laughed, "It was. Too bad that Hic didn't see it." Dad said, "Speaking of which, where is your brother?" Huh, I never thought it. That is when I begin to worry. "Oh, man.... Hiccup!" I said. I run towards the Academy and bumped into Snoutlout and the other Riders! "Whoa, Bugaboo, what's the hurry?" He asks me. "Snoutlout, Hiccup's missing! I'm worried." "I know that look. You want to look for him, don't ya?" He said. I nodded. "I guess there is no stopping you huh?" He sighs as he mounted up on his dragon. "You are coming with me? But what about-" I began to say but Fishlegs cut me off, "Berk will be fine and don't worry about us or your Dad. We'll handle things until you and Snoutlout come back." I hugged the Riders, "You guys are the best." I mounted up on Beauty and we flew off from home. Hiccup, what on Thor's name you done this time?
