Ishita's POV
"Ishu, pass me the chili powder beta," Bua requested. "Here bua," I placed the box of chili powder on the kitchen counter.
"I just hope Nirmal wins Super Dancer 3, he's such a talented guy," Mama and Bua were busy predicting Super Dancer 3's winner, the finale is tomorrow and like any other Indian household, they are discussing about Super Dancer 3.
"But I think Latika is also equally talented, she has always performed well,"
The calling bell rang; it was 20 minutes past 10. I turned to see Mama and Bua still engrossed in their talk, smiling I walked to open the door.
*
My eyes popped out of the sockets, "Veer" I whisper yelled seeing the person on the door.
Veer was visible drunk, his hands firmly against the walls to prevent him from falling, added to it was his reckless smile.
Was he shooting a Colgate ad?
"What do you want?" I was straight on my point, no beating around the bush.
He continued to smile, this time even wider.
"I asked, what do you want?" I was constantly peeking inside to see whether Mama or Bua saw us.
"Veer, answer me!" I rolled my eyes at him. His smile was fading away, and I could see the darkness in his eyes, they were captivating, demanding, but more like dominating.
"Ishu, who's at the door?" Bua asked.
Phass gayi Ishu...! Tut toh gayi! Pakka.
"---woh- delivery boy" I stammered; "Delivery boy?" she shot back.
"Wrong address pe aagaya woh, I'm giving him the right addresses" I lied.
I pulled him by his arm and closed the door, "Ohho! Are y-ou tr---ying to ---take advan---tage of my state?" he asked, surely, he had had some 3 rated drink, the smell was nasty.
"Are you out of your mind or something? What are doing outside my house at this point of time?" I glared at him.
He pulled me closer trapping me between the wall and him, our noses touching; our faces were dangerously close to each other.
Though I tried pushing him away, even while drunk, he over powered me. Sighs
"Kya chahiye?" It was supposed to rude, but came out as a whisper; he nudged his nose on mine slowly sending electric currents through my spine.
I am not supposed to feel so! Think straight Ishita.
"Tum" He whispered back with a whole lot of intensity, ironically I was shocked. I pierced my eyes through his, he smiled; his grip on mine arm was getting tighter and tighter.
"You are drunk." I declared disgustingly and started pushing him, again futile attempts!
"I'm -------- I'm not. I know what I'm s---aying and wha----t I'm ----doing,"
"You are not in your sense, Veer. Move!" looks like he is adamant on not leaving me. "I'll shout Veer, so better leave me" this was a warning for him.
"And------- what----" he coughed hard "what----will you say?" he raised his eyebrows questioning me, "the del----ivery -------boy is -----trying to molest y----ou?"
"Gross" I muttered.
He smiled. "Not shou---- buaaack"
Yuck! He puked his guts out.
