chapter 6

I woke up and i was in my bed and was about to get up when Kajai pulled me back down. I looked back at him and smiled and got out of bed. I went and took a quick shower then did everything else. I put my hair in a high ponytail and put my scrubs on. I walked out the bathroom and went and got Ky out the bed and told him to pick what clothes he wanted to wear. I then went and fixed him some cereal and then i went back up and got my pager and shook Kajai a little. When he woke up he looked at me and i kissed him and he got up.

"I gotta work today take Ky to Juniors he takes him to daycare before he goes to the trap and don't forget his lunch he like a sandwich wheat bread only white bread makes his face get bumpy and he scratches and no mayo he hates mayo mustard cheese and ham not turkey, ham and apples don't cut them up to small he says hes a big boy but don't let him fool you only put four apple slices in there he will only eat 2 and if they call you because he hit a kid always take the early nap road always." i rushed all that in and he just looked at me with the what the fuck face. He got out the bed and walked into the bathroom and came back out.

"Its to early to be telling me all this i got it but its to early but i got it wheat bread apple slices early nap i get it" i smiled and kissed him then walked downstairs. I went and kissed Ky then he kissed my cheek and kept watching Tv.

"Daddys driving you to uncle Ju ju and hes taking you to daycare but knowing him you won't go" and i walked out to my car. I got in and drove to work thinking of how i'm going to tell my boss that my new man might not want me working later on in the year. I guess i'm just going to wait till that happens.

I made it to work and saw Tiyahs car i got out and already saw ambulance rolling in. I huffed and locked my door as i was walking i saw Juniors car i instantly got scared. I rushed into the hospital and saw him screaming at one of the nurses.

"Junior...Junior whats wrong" i asked stepping in front of him. He looked at me with a scared look in his eyes. I took the paper from the nurse and gasped.

"Get me doctor Evans ASAP" i walked away from him and he tried to follow me. I turned around put my hands on his chest. I had to take a deep breath and hugged him he started crying and Yani and Tywan walk in. I let go letting he turned and then looked back at me.

"Ill take care of them i promise" i saw the Chief come up to me and i started reading my chart. "Jude and Jhéda Jonhson 29 and 4 car accident minor 4 year old a few scratches a little shock says there's a pain in her lower back 29 year old broken arm sprained ankle 4 broken ribs head against window head won no surgery maybe a slight concussion needs to be kept on fluids" i said as i followed him. He turned and i almost bumped into him he looked down at me with a mug.

"Post up on the chart" he turned and i glared at him and Tiyah followed him. She glared at me, she really doesn't like him. I huffed and stormed over to the counter and started filling in their personal charts. I felt a presents behind me and i turned to see Yani.

"What? i have to do their charts so if you have an emergency please go sit in the waiting room" she just stood there and i rolled my eyes and turned and went back to writing.

"You were my best friend did you think i wouldn't help you did you think i would be mad? because i would at least try to understand and i want to see my nephew and i'm so so sorry i came to your house and disrespected you i'm so sorry for that but you left with out any contact i needed you i needed you more than anyone and you weren't here i'm angry and i know you probably hate me and probably think i'm fake as fuck but i'm pregnant and Jude is in the hospital and i'm trying to figure out away to tell Ty but i don't know how" i turned and looked at her with a straight face. She had tears in her eyes and i just walked around to the computer and looked her name up. She just stared at me and i saw the her appointment isn't till Friday.

"Your 4 to 28 appointment isn't till Friday is there anything else i can help you with Mrs. Evans" she just looked at me and shook my head and walked away. Junior and Tywan looked at me sternly and i rolled my eyes and walked to Jhéda's room. I walked in to see her crying as the nurse had a bleeding nose holding the IV. I chuckled a little and told the nurse i had it. I rolled my arm up and Jhéda just stared at me with her tears coming to a slow stop.

"Look Jhéda all i'm going to do is find a good vein in you arm like this" i thumped my arm a little and saw a good vein and held the IV close to it. "Then i'm going to stick the IV in your arm like this and you'll only fill a pinch see its not that bad" i took the band off my arm and went and got a new IV Needle. I started the IV and smiled at her. I took off my gloves and started tracking her chart. I kissed her head and walked out and down the hall to Jude's room. She was just laying there watching TV.

"Is Jhé-" i cut her off and nodded my head knowing what she was about the ask. "I didn't mean to she was crying and kicking the seat i didn't know what to do is the other car OK" i nodded my head letting out a little laugh.

"There's no internal bleeding we took care of that ankle and your stable... You should have pulled the car over and whooped her ass i know Junior told her about doing that shit" i said writing on her chart and she just laughed. I looked at her and she huffed i turned off the TV and looked at her.

"Look i forgive you your my brothers Girlfriend... Wife whatever and my nieces mother i have to deal with you no this doesn't mean we're friends just know i forgive you"she nodded her head and opened her arms. I gave her a hugged and we heard a knock and i turned to see Yani i looked at Jude and told her i'd be back in a hour. I was almost out the door and i looked at Yani and rolled my eyes walking out. I walked to the desk and pulled Tiyah into some old guys room who's been in a coma for 5 years.

"Tell Jay i cant work at the Strip anymore" i said looking at the door. I looked at the Guy and he was still sleeping. "Me and Kajai are trying to work this out i just don't feel right working there and he and i are together." i told her and she smiled and nodded.

"He'll understand him and Riah are attached to the hip now so-" she was cut off when her pager went off. She looked at it and huffed then my pager went off and it was trauma.

"I got trauma" she smacked her lips and stomped. "Stupid ass C.T. i'm telling that lady is fine she better have bank all these expensive test she fail every single one" i laughed and rushed to trauma and Junior stopped me.

"Uh....Ju i have trauma i gotta go" he looked at me and i huffed asking him what he needed and he asked for Jhéda's room. "Um... room 427"and he thanked me and walked away. I rushed to trauma and saw it was bigger than i thought.

"Dr. Troller how may i help" he pointed to trauma curtain one i opened it and i saw a young girl with a long piece of Glass in her pregnant belly.

"GET ME AN O.R. AND DR. ROBS NOW" and i told the people to help me get the girl to the O.R.

My day just had to be stressful.
