Dear W,

Today was wonderful. So I was having an okay day until I got in U.S. History. Then my day was just spun all the way to amazing. That class is officially my favorite. We're partners for the colonies project, and we get to work with and talk to each other for a whole 45 minutes. You picked me to be your partner as well. Before the teacher even said pick partners you had already tapped my shoulder and said "You're my partner." Then you got fake mad at me when I chose the New York Colony instead of the Maryland Colony like you wanted. But I can't help it! I wanted New York so I could sing Taylor Swift! Today we were working and it was quite a bit of fun. We argued and laughed over your awful handwriting, you thought me crossing my eyes was hilarious, and you told me how when you're older you want to have an old English ship that you can sail around the world on with your friends. The best part? You said you'd take me with you. You said all of your friends would come with their spouses. You told me that me and my husband could come, but I thought that was silly because you're going to be my husband anyways! I'm just kidding. Maybe... And you told the worst but best pun ever. I said you were a dork and you said "I'm the dork of York!" Which is a pun because New York is named after the "Duke" of York. You also complemented my singing, which I was thankful for. And I'm pretty sure I was blushing really hard but oh whale. After what Katie has told me about my singing, I really needed someone to tell me I wasn't totally horrendous at singing. Something else that happened today was you came by and hit me with your lunch box after lunch. I was walking with my friends and they of course know I like you so they tried to push me into you, but they ultimately just pushed me into the wall and you looked behind you confused and laughing. So I can add that to my list of times I've been pushed into a wall by one of my friends. Anyways, I just wanted to say you always brighten my day even if you just smile at me. You just always instantly make my day better when you're around me. Thanks for being the dork you are. And don't worry, I'll keep being a dork with you. I guess we're the dorks of York according to you.
