As I lay upon your chest, I can hear the rhythm of your heartbeat. I hug you tightly to me and breathe the scent of you in and it soothes my soul.

As I lay listening to your heart beating steadily like a drum while you stroke my hair and back so gentle and slowly, I fall into a deep sleep like never before, feeling safe and secure in your loving arms.

As we lay here, never let me go my love, for if I had a choice I wouldsleep forever in your loving embrace, lost in the rhythm of your beating heartthat beats only for me.
