One day during school Percy, Annabeth and the rest of the 7 are sitting in a classroom inside Goode high school. The class they're in happens to he history and lately they've been covering Greece. During this class they are talking about the underworld, in which the 7 are starting to doze off. When the word Tartarus was mentioned they all started listening.
"Tartarus is a place where Greek monsters that were killed go to reform. Then after a few weeks, months or even years they come back to the mortal world. Any questions?"
"Is it possible for a mortal to go through Tartarus and live?" Piper asks innocently even though she already knows the answer.
"No it is completely impossible for that to happen," the teacher states.
The 7 burst out laughing because they know her answer isn't true.
"Tell me why your laughing now!" The teacher yells.
"We're laughing because you answer to my question is completely false, I know 3 people who have been through Tartarus and lived and 2 of them are in this room."
Everyone starts laughing.
"For that to happen you would have to be demigods which do not exist."
"Not true!" Annabeth yells. The 7 all walk up to the front of the class and start introducing themselves.
"Hazel Levesque, daughter of Pluto."
"Frank Zhang, son of Mars."
"Jason Grace, son of Jupiter."
"Piper Mclellan, daughter of Aphrodite."
"Leo Valdez, son of Hephaestus."
"I'm Annabeth, daughter of Athena and this is my boyfriend Percy Jackson, son of Poseidon and we're the ones who have been through Tartarus and survived."
Then the 7 just leave the room while everyone's jaws hang open. Later everyone just thought of it as a joke, but little did they know.
