On Annabeth's birthday she found a plate of perfectly baked blue cookies and a blue birthday cake on her dinning table. Besides the baked goods there was a note with, 'Happy Birthday Wise Girl!' on it. Annabeth was touched but she loved Percy even more when she found his alarm clock set to 7am and spotted him at the kitchen sink trying to rinse off tons of flour, milk and blue dye out of him clothes, hair and face.
