At last the summer ended and everyone was about to return to Hogwarts, other to fulfill their educations and other to complete the last years lessons that was lost in cause of the Deatheaters that were tutoring in place of teachers. That year seems different a lot and sure it would be, it was the first time ever the last year, 7th year had so many students, not to add that it was the most peaceful year that the magical world had since the first wizarding world. The second war was over and thankfully the last it would ever been with Voldemort as the leader of the evil armies.
Many families had changed and believe it or not, but the Malfoy family not at all. After Lucius Malfoy arrested and was lead to the Askaban Prison, many turned against the family and did everything to humiliate them. Of course Lady Malfoy didn’t allow that, at least not in front of Draco.
EXCLUSIVE:
THE NEWS FROM THE COURT!
All the wizarding families are now living peacefully, many of them who were forced to follow the dark lord are now free to go and return to their new life with their families. Many members were accused for willingly following him, others that they didn’t have a choice because they were threatened by Him and His followers, that was the story of Lucius Malfoy, the upper-class, pure-blood wizard who was the one who actually hosted the Dark Lord in his own house. That what surprised everyone in the court during the trial were the annoyed and ‘superior’ looks that the younger member of the family of the Malfoys and the Deatheaters was given toward his mother when they accused them for betrayal. Do they really think that they matter to the magical society after all that they done?! Well that doesn’t even count when they attacked to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizadry with the evil forced of Voldemort. The Judge and Minister of Magic theorized the Malfoy Family guilty for what they’ve done and suspended them to community service. As for Draco Lucius Malfoy, the 18 years old boy will return to Hogwarts shortly and he will be followed by Aurors for the rest of the school years to make sure he will not try something illegal. With the first misdeed he will do he will be suspended and he will return to the Askaban prison, where his father was. Let’s now who are the Malfoys without their power.
Rita Skitter
Editor of the daily prophet.
“Draco Malfoy… I don’t want to try and imagine how he is feeling now, not to say what is going to happen now in school.” Ginny thought as she was reading the article in the Daily Prophet. She didn’t like the Malfoy family at all but she didn’t hate Draco, not after the scared look he had when Voldemort hugged him not to mention that he ran toward Harry and gave him his wand to attack against Voldemort. Now Ginny hated the Aurors, they were unfair with him, at least with him. The Malfoy family was forced to follow Voldemort, everyone knew that! Not to mention those hard words Rita had just said, but the scene was replayed. When Harry Potter was accused for lying about Voldemort’s return he was the ‘bad’. Now the ministry wanted to blame others and don’t step forward and say that they were wrong, so the deed goes to Lucius Malfoy and his family. “Malfoy was ALWAYS capable of Crafty but been blamed with accusations equal to death, that is something else entirely!” Hermione squeaked to Ron and Harry.
“Here we go again!” Ginny sighed and turned to face them “what happened?” Hermione looked straight into her eyes and puffed “well, Harry and Ron believe that the Judge is very mild with the Malfoys.” Harry and Ron tried to make Hermione stopped but that was bottomless by her. She would say Ginny the truth since they did believed on it strongly.
Ginny’s eyes narrowed and looked at her brother and his best friend. “Ron! Harry! That is not funny!” she shouted as she was scolding them angrily and had that look that it never go without meaning it. She was disappointed. Harry sighed and sat beside her “baby he is a death eater.” He said to her with a tired look and voice. “Was!” her voice interrupted his sentence, “that doesn’t make him a criminal! Harry he never had a choice!” she sighed furiously and then looked at him again with a serious look on her face “if it wasn’t for him, the elder wand wouldn’t be yours and Voldemort may be could be alive!” she said bitterly and went out of Harry’s House. Harry ran after her and touched her wrist gently “Ginny! Baby you are right, it’s just I can’t forgive him for everything he had done or his family! Bellatrix! She killed Sirius!” he looked into her eyes with his bright green eyes. Harry really liked Ginny, he wanted her more than anyone and was always beside her, well, at least since he found out that he liked her more than a sister. Of course the fact that he considered her still as a sister all these years sometimes confused him, but that was a different story. “ I am sorry” Ginny said to Harry and hold his hands on hers. “I always forget how Sirius died” He smiled a little sadly and then pulled her closer to him “I am sorry too Ginny, I always forget that you are a fighter of justice!” he teased her and kissed her nose gently. She giggled and rose her head up, her lips met his and they kissed for several minutes. He had his hand on her chin and her hands around his back. Everything was as they should be for Harry and Ginny… at least according to the life they always wanted after the end of the war. Ginny and Harry broke their kiss and smiled more to eachother now. They then looked around and then looked at eachother again, the place around was deep orange, the leaves of the trees were all down making the ground a golden, orange colour. The day was almost over and tomorrow would be a new day which symbolized a new and the final year of Hogwarts.
The night fall dark and cold but nothing was cooler that the Malfoy manor. Deep hidden in the giant forest, now the magic spell had trapped the place and made it like it was a different, a separated part of the magical world. The wind was blowing hard and making a terrified music made by the leaves of the deep, green trees outside the enormous house. A breach was hitting the window of a room, full of candle light. Draco read the article in the Daily Prophet. The elves were walking around the house and Aurors were everywhere in the house, inside and outside. Thank Merlin’s sake; they weren’t inside his room now, only if someone was visiting him. His father wasn’t allowed even visits in his own room from his wife or his son and be alone in the room. Lucius was now in the kitchen with 6 aurors and was taking lunch with his wife. She was all the time looking at him, she missed him a lot, they weren’t good since Voldemort re-appeared in London and stayed on their house, and now that everything was over for all the Magical society, they were still in war, they were still trapped, alone, scared and being watched all the time. They would never be free again! That was all the things Narcissa was thinking about as she watched her husband eating quietly. He then raised his head and looked at her, he noticed her tired and troubled look so he decided to give her a small smile, a smile that he gave her when he was promising her things. She noticed it and smiled back lightly. Lucius didn’t have any plan, they both knew that. But the fact he was still the strongest in the family, even when he was in the most dangerous and difficult placed made her feel somehow proud for her husband.
Draco by the other hand was the only one who was the loneliest person in the whole wide world. He didn’t have anyone to turn to, not friends, not someone who loved him. Of course Draco refused to fell in love and anyone who would love him was shot away of his-life. He didn’t care if he was being mean or cruel or everything bad, he was protecting himself and that was everything for him that was how he lived all those years. That was what he knew to do the best, to shoot the people who cared about him away of him and to that he was really a professional. He suddenly threw the newspaper in the flour angrily and shouted to the elves “GET OUT! All of you NOW!” he shouted louder and strict and way angrier “ALL OF YOU! NOW!”
That was all, the elves vanished and an auror walked inside the room. Draco raised his head and looked the man into his brown eyes with hers, grey one. The man was almost 2 meters and was holding a wand in his hand. He looked strong and sure he was athletic, everything that Draco never had, everything he hated, freedom and choices. Before he can start and say something, the man raised his hand and slapped him across the face. “come on little blond princess” he said awfully and without any respect “time to go to your bed so you can follow orders tomorrow, lights are closing in 5 minutes, be sure you will be ready or you will pay!” he smirked and then looked at the chain Draco had around his on ankle. That way he would never leave.
He stood up and followed the orders carefully as was trying quickly to do what he was told to. His cheek was aching with the slap he had received but Draco was a man, was a Malfoy, he wouldn’t cry not even when tears were escaping his eyes. He was the one that could control himself, not his emotions, not anything else. He wore his pajamas and lay on his bed after he had washed his teeth. Luckily for him when the Aurors opened the door to check on him, the room was dark so they locked the door and let him be, but they didn’t know that Draco was still awake. Pour Draco, he would have a long way night and the day, tomorrow would be horrible.
