“Let’s go” Ginny said and moved away of Harry’s arms and walked to the first wagon of the train. Since the Slytherin lost its tremendous power because of the reputation of the pure bloods wizards and witches, they now were considered as the ‘low class magical beings’ that was practically sad but that was now the way the things were. The most Slytherin students had Deatheaters for their parents, like Pansy Parkinson or Blaize Zabini, even Daphne and Astoria Greengrass.
“The Greengrass sisters” Hermione pointed as she saw them to beautiful but cold as ice girls. Harry smirked as saw them and then looked at them “how bad luck can they have? All the Greengrass family, especially Astoria” Harry laughed quietly and Ron turned to him “what do you mean Harry?” Before Harry was able to answer, Neville appeared and smiled to them “Hello people! What’s up? Long time not see” He added and gave each one a hug “Hello Neville, how is your grandmother?” Hermione asked and Ron added “How was your holiday?” Harry didn’t ask anything… he was completed with the questions of their friends. “I am great thank you! My grandmother is grumpier sometime she reminds me of Snape” he smiled a bit sadly as all of them but still… it was funny “and my holiday was the greatest ever, me and Luna went to Florida together for a couple of weeks. It was fantastic really, an amazing country with beautiful story, yours? Where is Ginny?” he looked around to search for her. Everyone was confused now, Ginny was gone again and nobody even noticed it. “She was here a moment ago” Hermione stated the obvious “But since yesterday she is disappearing all the fucking time!” Ron said angrily “Ginny?!” Harry called her. “Here!” Ginny appeared from the door “Come one I found us sits” she smiled a bit and then more as she saw Neville “Hey!” she walked and hugged him “Hello there red riding hood! Where are you?” she giggled as the gold trio looked each others with curiosity. “Red Riding Hood?” Hermione started and each word was completed by one each. “Yes” Neville replied smiling “that is my nickname” Ginny replied smiling “Let’s go! Luna is waiting!” she took Neville’s hand and walked toward the door and through over it.
He was still standing there; the wind was blowing as the train had already started to travel. It was cold like a natural autumn wind. That cold matched with the one he had on his own heart, a cold wind! No wait! His wind was much colder. It was like the winter on North Pole, that much! He picked up his wand again and moved it with a slightly movement and placed the glass of the window back again. The window was ready for the travel. Thank God he was allowed his wand or else that would be much more difficult. He was left in peace all the way in the train. That wasn’t peace of him, he did miss staying alone but now he would prefer company, he wanted to take off his mind, to stop thinking; not even sleep didn’t allow him that anymore. He couldn’t do anything. He was simply helpless till someone would appear if he could fall asleep.
Ginny was silent, all the way with the Hogwart express found her out of space… She was thinking, remembering things only she knew and things she could share with none, she was surrounding by people who sometimes interrupted her thoughts. She needed to think and they didn’t allow her. Harry had all the time his hand around her waist and sometimes he was kissing her cheek or lips and playing with her hair. He was smiling, laughing and occasionally he was tickling her playfully. Ginny was laughing harder and harder as he did and she had to admit it even to her-self that thanks to Harry she was having a good time in the long way back. “Oh!” Harry spoke and looked at all of them “did you hear? Draco Malfoy is on the train… He is coming back at school” he pointed and everyone looked shocked except Ginny whose smile disappeared from her face. “WoW!” Ron yelled “he really has a nerve to return back!” Ginny shot him a glare and Hermione spoke “RON! He is having a hard time, and if you recall he was the one that gave Harry his wand to defeat Voldemort!” Ron rolled his eyes annoyed but before he could be capable of answering Neville spoke “I am afraid that I agree with Hermione Ron… In the end he helped, we can’t deny that…” Luna and Harry nodded their heads but Ron didn’t give up “you know, I can’t say no on that but he tried to kill Dumblendor, he was a follower! A deatheater of you know who and didn’t refuse to do anything that he was told to do! I can’t stop thinking of that I am sorry!” he said loudly to make sure he was heard. That time none was actually to even take a small breath when Ginny took the step and replied passionately “I wanted to see you if I or anyone from our family was in danger and the only way of saving them and make sure they will be okay was you to become a follower of even Lucifer’s himself! I would love to see you or anyone else here in that train, except Harry, to EVEN try to say NO to VOLDEMORT!” she yelled and she had stood up, her hands were turned into fists and her body was tighten. “you are all good to accuse people but you never try to be on their shoes!” she replied finally and looked everyone each. None of them spoke, they remind silent. Ron leant his head down and didn’t even swallow in return. Luna was looking at Ginny and smiled, she was happy that someone else could understand her points all those years, it was actually about time to stop accusing people from their actions and try to look a little behind the words and images. “Well, well, well! Finally, Gryffindors have their old-always-judge glory back! “All turned to the door.
Pansy Parkinson was standing in the door and hearing the ‘conversation’, she had heard everything. “Thank you Weasley for taking Draco’s side, that means a lot to us...” Behind Pansy they were many Slytherin students. The all gave a gratitude nod to Ginny and Luna and then they left, following Pansy.
“Well that was rare!” Hermione pointed “I thought the Slytherins only helped and congratulated and were thankful to other Slytherins or to people they have something to gain…” Ron smirked “well they have something to gain, our FAVOUR!” he said to her and turned to Harry. He pulled Ginny on his lap and then looked at Ron “well, since the end of the war, Slytherin lost all their power and reputation, they will change strategy that is for sure but… so quick?” he wondered out loud “I agree on Harry, that is a bit suspicious I am afraid” Luna smiled more and wore her Spectacles, the she touched Neville’s hand and kissed it “I am sure they just started to see the world from a different perspective.” Hermione and Ginny looked at Luna, Ginny was still pretty angry and pissed off, Hermione on the other hand was calm, and she replied to Luna’s comment with an easy out-going way “I agree on Luna, they deserve a second chance! Not their faults their parents grew them with those believes and ways of behavior!” They all ended up agreeing to the fact that Draco Malfoy had many things to be ashamed of but to the most of them it was completely his fault. He of course was the one to blame for the most of them but he was dragged and needed to do those things, but in the act it would be way more difficult.
That conversation kept only for several minutes, when they put an end to this they started talking about how the school was after the massive attack, how were the hat and the magical artifacts of the Houses’ Founders. Who would be the new HeadMaster and all the new teachers they were going to have, and one thing that intrigued all of them, the position of the Dark Arts Teacher. Now that Voldemort was dead would be still jinxed? Did they found a way to un-jinxed the place and a teacher could fill it once and for all from now on? What would happen now?
Draco was thinking of those things too, he wanted to know who his teachers were and what he needed to do to pass that year the easiest and calmest he could. He only wanted to take that pepper and leave from London to go and live forever to Australia, away of anyone, to start anew. He heard the train hocking a stood up, were his school uniform, took his suitcase and waited for the Aurors to appear and lead him away of the train. He was back, he was at Hogwarts! At last… that journey was the longest and the most tired he had ever had.
The new school year was here, waiting for everyone in that train, old and new students. That year was going to be different than the others for many ways and for all the people each. Especially to Draco who didn’t know it yet but that year was going to be simply… different.
