"Come on Victoria! Do you really believe Greg will notice you if you don't even talk to him and hide whenever he comes by? Go ahead go talk to him!" Yells out my best friend Stacy.

"I rather not embarrass myself thank you very much." I scold. "Besides what would the captain of the football team want with me?" As soon as I finish my sentence, I get slapped in the face. "Stacy!?"

"Yeah, I slapped you! You're so blind to see your own damn beauty Victoria! You're absolutely perfect! But yet here you sit talking bad about yourself! Stop with the whole insecurities and talk to him!" with that she pushes me towards the direction where Greg sits with a group of his friends at a lunch table. I shoot a glare over my shoulder at Stacy.

I take a breathe and start heading over. One of Greg's friend catches sight of me & starts to whistle causing the guys to stop talking and look at me. Other guys start whistling at me to, but I try to pay no attention to them but hell was I blushing. I stop right in front of Greg and he's looking at with a huge smirk on his face.

"What can I do for you Victoria?" He winks. "Can-Can I talk to you for a second..alone..?" I mumble. "yeah baby, sure" he says as he gets up from his seat, he wraps a arm around my waist and starts heading out the cafeteria and outside to the schools courtyard where we sit on one of the benches. A gust of wind blows and I breathe in the fresh air. I have always admired nature and right now it was seriously comforting me.

Greg turns to me. "before you start, I just want to say I'm glad you pulled me outside to talk to me. the reason is because lately I've been hearing rumors that you have a crush on me, is this true?" Greg says. I nod. Greg breaks into a huge smile. "Awesome! Then I should assume that if I ask you on a date right now, you'll say yes?"

I glance at him " Is it safe to assume that this is your way of asking me out?"

"It sure is." Greg stares at me with those perfect green eyes. "Then this is me saying yes" I grin.

He jumps up. "Great! I'll be picking you up at 7 tomorrow night for our date. " "Oh ok, see you then!" I say as he walks back inside.

I have a date with a jock. As in Greg Carter football captain has a date with ME, Victoria Mason. I jump up and run inside to find Stacy.
