After Madeline stormed out that Tuesday night, no one has heard from her again; she ran away. Some of the techicains attemtped to track her down, but even with the help of her "friends," they couldn't find her. The Admiral told Amelia and James not to worry about her safety; if she was able to control her blade whenever she wanted, she could protect herself and not need guidaince from Mirra anymore. Reluntantly, James agreed to continue his training; Amelia refused completely. She felt that it was her fault that Madeline got so upset and ran away, it was when she formed her blade did Madeline finally had the courage to leave. So, Amelia stopped her training all together, all because of a stupid move she made the night before. Neston was upset about her decision and wouldn't talk to her until she restarted her training; Borann was hesitant to continue James' training, but after an order from The Admiral, he kept James in their training grounds for hours. Mirra formed a search and resuce team to look for Madeline, without The Admiral knowing, and would sneak out at night and search for her. Amelia wanted to help Mirra, but she knew that seeing Amelia, Madeline would never come back to the base.

Days passed, still no sign of finding Madeline, however, James had perfected his blades that covered the top of his hands. It was a Friday when James walked in the room, with his head held high and his thin arm blades showing; his teal device in his neck was causing his eyes to glow in a deep teal shade, and the device pusle up and down the top of his arms. He was ecstatic to swing them around everyone's faces and necks; demonstrating how much self-control he had. The Rakians were pleased to see James acsellerating pace of learning about his new found ablitlies. Amelia was happy for him, just didn't say anything; she secretly was afraid of saying something that would cause him to run away and disappear off the face of the earth, just like Mdeline. Amelia lay on her coffin bed and stared at the rock ceiling, silently listening to Borann's tale of how and when James formed his blades while training. Neston was full of questions, because he knew that Amelia would never recontinue her training; Mirra wa curious as well, but Neston would always interrupt Borann's story to ask a question. James would blush whenever his name was uttered, or the part when he formed his blades; he blushed woth accomplishment.

After a while of Neston repeating his questions, Amelia, and Mirra secretly, became ignored. Amelia sat up in her bed and looked down at them all, then focused on Neston. "You've asked that twelve times now!" Everyone was slightly surprised to see Amelia speak again, as if they forgot she was there. Neston looked at her and gave her the death glare.

"I'm just interested in his story," He growled at her, baring his sharpe dog teeth, "Maybe I wouldn't be, if you just continue your training!"

This random outburst from Neston scared everyone into becoming quiet; Amelia had flashbacks of Madeline, how they both overreacted to the point of slicing each other's throat. She wasn't going to allow her "friendship" with Neston get messed up; so, she did what all good parents want their children to do when edged to fight, walk away. She jumped off of her bed and walked passed Neston, muttering, "I don't need this shit." She left the room, but that wasn't the end of it.

Neston followed her out and chased her until he realized that she wasn't going to come back. He stood and shouted at her, "You damn human!" This sudden change of tone and attitude towards her made Amelia stop and straighten up, with her attention on whatever he had to say. "You're just like all the others; quitting before even starting! You're a damn disgrace to us. You don't deserve to have such a rescourceful planet!"

Amelia narrowed in on that last part; "rescourceful planet?" Where had she heard that before? The name Ses popped in her mind. She sighed  loudly and turned around to face Ses, cleverly wearing a Neston disguise.

"Nice try," she stepped towards him and crossed her arms over her chest. "But you're not fooling anyone."

The "Neston" in front of her slightly showed signs of becoming paniced, but covered it up with a cocky grin. "Why not prove it?" he said. Acting as if he was all powerful, he lifted his arms; signaling Amelia to "bing it on." She ran at him, a flashback of Madleine charging at her reappeared in her mind, causing her to stop a step before she reached "Neston." She automatically felt embarrassed and stood there thinking; it seemed that not even her instincts were correct anymore. Over "Neston's" shoulder, Amelia saw James, Borann, and Mirra peaking out the door; satisfying their curisoty. "Neston" looked through the corner of his eye and saw them as well, allowing Amelia enough time to turn around again and walk away, for the second time.
