Chapter 2. The contract.

CHAPTER TWO

Sophia's POV

I grinned triumphantly as Janelle agreed with my idea.

I hadn't expected her to react like that in my suggestion. In fact, I expected her to put up a fight. Instead, she easily gave in. I wonder why? Even if it confuses me, it made me happy at the same time, because I know that I can execute my plans.

What is it, you ask?

My plan is to make Giovanni see what he's been taking for granted for more than 3 years now. I want him to realize my best friend's worth. I want him to love Janelle the way she loves him. I want them to be the perfect Alpha couple.

To be honest, the idea from the paper I gave Janelle was already tattooed on my mind a long time ago. I just don't think it would work the way I think it should, so I didn't tell her about it... Until now.

I was beyond furious when she came a while ago saying he's done it again. It triggered the living bitch inside of me.

I thought he stopped, because it's been a month since Janelle last told me about her mate's infidelity, but I was wrong. Very wrong. That made my wolf mad at her own Alpha, which made me write the only way I could think of to make our Alpha stop bring a man-whore.

It took me a few minutes to write and organize my thoughts. Originally, the steps I made were only up until step 8. The last step which is to break Giovanni's heart just came while I'm writing. I decided to write it because... Well just for fun. Haha. But I have no intention of letting Janelle do the last step. After step 8, when Giovanni is clearly in love with Janelle, I will end the contract, we will all pretend it never happened, and they will live happily ever after.

I am so brilliant, am I not?

Janelle's POV

"So here.. Sign it Nelle!" Pia said, handing me a pen.

"Why do I have to sign it?" I asked.

"Because," she sighed dramatically then locked her eyes with mine, "I want to know and I want to be assured that you will really do it. At least if you signed it, I will hold it against you if you tried to escape doing the steps! I will sue you Salvador!" she warned.

"You don't have to worry about it Pia. I will do it. I love him, yes. But at least I can lessen the amount of love I have for him. I will try to stop my emotions to flood." I said seriously.

Yeah right. Keyword there: TRY.

"I know. I just want to make sure of it, because who knows if after a few months your emotions got the better of you, and you will not finish the task because of your love for Alpha Dickhead." she said.

I can't help but laugh at what she called Giovanni. Alpha Dickhead, really?

"Don't laugh Janelle! It's possible, you know. You might forget the task because you love him big time! You may be laughing now because you probably think you can do it and keep your emotions at bay, but I swear your emotions might be a big hindrance on the way." she said.

I was about to tell her that I'm not laughing because I thought I can handle my emotions but because of her nickname for Giovanni, when she beat me to it.

"And oh, just a reminder Janelle. I will be the only one who has the right to cancel this contract. Clear?" she said.

"What? Why?" I exclaimed. "That's unfair!"

She held my chin between her thumb and index finger, smiled sweetly and said, "Everything's fair in love and war."

I huffed. She's clearly trying to imitate Pia from the movie "Three idiots". How ironic, because her nickname's Pia!

"Pia, why?" I asked again.

She sighed. "I don't want you to back-out Janelle. Knowing you, you will try to stop this contract from being accomplished because of your undying love for Giovanni, or you will make up for another reason." she paused. "So, sign it now."

I sighed. I really can't say no to her, can I?

I grabbed the pen and signed the d*mned contract. There's only one thing that is running through my mind at the moment.

What have I gotten myself into?
