Chapter 9. Honey

CHAPTER NINE

Janelle's POV

I woke up feeling refreshed, happy, and a bit sore from last night. I smiled, slightly blushing when visions of our love making came into my mind.

That definitely was the best night of my life.

I looked beside me, expecting to see Giovanni's sleeping face, only to frown when he's not there.

Where is he?

What's happening right now is the same as what happened when we mated. He left me before I woke up, and only came back that night to sleep beside me and then went out again before I woke up the next day.

No, he didn't do it again. Think positive Janelle.

I stood up, and fixed our bed. I picked up a new set of clothes and went inside the bathroom to take a shower.

Maybe he's in his office. I will cook breakfast and take it there.

I showered fast, because I remembered I hadn't eaten anything last night, and I am starving. After I showered, I got dressed and went into the kitchen to cook breakfast for myself and for Giovanni.

I prepared bacons, eggs, and pancakes. I also made an apple juice which is Giovanni's favorite.

When everything is done, I placed them on a tray and carried them to Giovanni's office.

Once I got there, I heard voices. Giovanni's talking to someone, and it's not just someone; it's a girl.

"I was so scared when it happened. They were all crowding at us so fast, but my parents told me to run." the girl said, her voice slightly shaking. "I d-didn't want to leave them, b-but they pushed me. So, I ran."

Then, she started sobbing. That's when I heard Giovanni talk, and based from what I can hear, he's hugging her.

"Honey, it's okay. Ssshh. You're safe now." he said.

Honey?

What the hell?

Who the hell is that?

Memories of Giovanni's past cheating came rushing in my head. He was calling his whores honey, baby, darling, sweetheart, cupcake, and many more...

I refuse to let this happen anymore. I refuse to tolerate this!

I took a deep breath and prepared myself to do what I've always wanted to do the first time Giovanni cheated on me...
