Chapter 9: Worries

My heart was really beating as fast as I met the eyes of Luhan. I don’t know what to do as I froze in front of them until the Manager had spoken.

“Maevic, we need your help” he said.

“Help? Why? What is happening?” I replied back and I saw Luhan moved beside me.

“We are not sure if you’re going to accept this or not but we need a girl who is going to be starred on a magazine that we are going to shoot.” Luhan said and now I froze again not because of his angelic face but the words that I’ve heard from him.

“Bwoa?! Andwa…e” I stopped as he interrupted again.

“Please Maevic! I really need your help. We need your help, we don’t have enough time to shoot this” he said and he sounds begging at me that he almost kneeled down just to get my approval.

“Aish.. okay fine but are you sure about that? I mean I’m just an ordinary girl and I don’t think I’ll fit in” I said and my voice was terrible.

“Maevic-sshi, don’t worry we’ll help you” Sehun tapped my shoulders providing me the confidence. Since I couldn’t resist anymore, I just nodded and I saw their faces enlightened. The manager told us to talk about it tonight and they lead me to the room, we sat there for a moment and he started discussing the shooting.

“Uhm where are the other members?” I asked the manager.

“They already know about this. And it was just actually the EXO-M who is going to shoot with you.” He said back.

After 45 minutes of giving me an orientation about the photo shoot, I looked into the folder of the script that was given to me. I scrolled down to look if there was something I need to clarify. So far, it might turn out to be good since the concept of the shooting is about six guys who fell in love with a same woman, as they show their love to one another. I’m still confused about it and I have no idea how would I act it out. I don’t have skills to do those kinds of things and I knew I would just mess up but somehow I’m quite happy because of our roles. The meeting was over and looked at my watch SHIT! It’s already 11 o’clock…Gerald…. I quickly took out my phone and I saw 30 messages and 15 missed calls form Gerald. Oh no, I’m going to be a dead meat when I got home. I called Gerald and no wonder, he answered it right away.

“Maevic?! Where the hell are you! Why didn’t you answer my calls and messages!” he was yelling at me and I feel so sorry about that.

“I’m really sorry, I’ll just tell you when I got home but can you pick me up now?” I slowly said with a low tone of my voice.
