Chapter 32: Night Together

Maevic’s POV

It has been one week since Luhan and I met. I missed him so much. I rolled all over my bed just to forget about him. Just for few minutes but honestly, I can’t. I know he’d be busy with his career and sometimes I thought that it was more important than me. Well, I can’t say anything though, we are not yet officially together.

“Love is all that matters” I said to myself as I blankly stare at the white ceiling of my spacious room.

The silence that fills the whole house tortures me. I wish Luhan could be here with me again, watching movies, tease each other, watch his favorite football team and feel his warm embrace that would always make me feel safe.

I was waiting for my phone to beep, for his message to come but unfortunately even the how-are-you-message-thing is missing. I finally stood up and let my feet touch the cold ground of the floor, I took a few minutes staring on it.

“Come on Maevic, is not like Luhan is the one who needs to control you. Move!” I said to myself. I stood up and took a bath, wore my favorite faded-like shorts, my over-sized hoodie with matching specs.

I cooked for my own lunch and it was new for me. Yes it was because I always go out and look for any restaurant just to eat but now, it was different.

The saddest part of my life is when I’m eating. Alone. Well, as for now it was the saddest. You know the feeling right?

I washed the dishes, and went to the living room. I opened the television and scanned to look for any good movies but everything is in Korean so, here I’ am just waiting for someone to …..

My eyes blunted. Who is it? I slowly walked towards the main door and waited for another doorbell but this time, there’s no second try. I slowly opened just in case and asked “Who is it?”

Instead of being answered I was welcomed with a bouquet of flowers. “Kyaa!” I was shocked but I managed to control my scream.

“Hey, It’s me.” The flowers from my face slowly went down revealing the man behind it.

“Luhan?” He nodded with that sweetest smile. I immediately opened the door and let him come inside.

He handed me the flowers and some chocolates as well. “What are these for?” I asked.

“It’s for you can’t you see?” he smirked. Oh gosh, not again. “Maevic, let’s go out today!” he squealed.
