Chapter 23: One day left

Maevic’s POV

“Gerald!” I called his name while running down the stairs. I forgot he was asleep already. I sneaked into his room and he was in fetal position I felt pity so I didn’t woke him up. I ran back into my room and jumped all over.

“I cannot believe this! Waaa!” I shouted but still controlled my voice. I found a necklace inside my pocket and a ring was actually the pendant. I was trying to think if it was accidentally placed in my pocket or not. I thought about Luhan but it was impossible. I don’t know.

I tried to examine the pocket again and there I realized that there was a small folded paper inside. I took it out and slowly unfolded.

The dress would look even better with the necklace – L

“I knew it!” I screamed and jumped into my bed. I was smiling like a lunatic. I was even laughing, rolling on my bed until *DUG!*

“Aww” I fell into the floor but still I managed to keep on squealing. I was just so happy. I started to calm down and tried sleeping but I just can’t so I waited until I finally fell asleep.

Gerald’s POV

“Is she still asleep?” I murmured as I looked upstairs and looked at the clock. It was already 10 in the morning. I went upstairs to look for her.

I found her in her bed and when I get closer to her I whispered. An angel sleeping. I sat beside her and started caressing her hair. I tried to keep it gently so I won’t wake her up but her phone suddenly rings. Her eyes opened and i felt nervous. She looked at me.

“Good morning” she smiled and it was weird.

“Your phone is ringing. Aren’t you going to answer it?” I told her. And she quickly sat down on her bed and took her phone. Her smile faded and answered the phone plainly.

“What?!” she yelled into someone over the phone. I don’t have any idea who it was so I stood up and went out. After a few minutes when I was preparing our breakfast I heard her screaming. I thought she got into something so I quickly ran towards her.
