chapter 22: "doesn't count as a mistake if they do the same thing twice, they call that a choice."

*5 days later*

*in school*

*in mr Mathews class*

"so I have a big announcement to make. we're all going camping!" Cory exclaimed with a big smile on his face.

"why?!?!" the whole class said in unison with no enthusiasm.

"because I want you guys to know what to do if you were without, not just phones but tv, and so on."

"but what dose this have to do with history?" Farkle asked.

"it doesn't have anything to do with history, I just want you guys to work as a team and relay on each other in dangerous or emergency situations. cause remember 'lose one friend, lose all friends, lose yourself'. so we'll be going into the woods to go camping in 3 days and I called someone to look after you. josh!"

josh walked into the classroom with a smile. "hey kiddies!"

what he's going to be chaperoning us!?!?! Riley thought to herself freaking out.

"uh how long wil we be in the woods?" maya asked.

"a week" Cory answered.

"WHAT" the whole class yelled in unison again.

"how will we get food?!" maya asked panicking.

"we have to look for food." Cory said.

"like animals!" Riley exclaimed.

"yeah pretty much" josh said laughing.

Riley shot him a dirty look and he immediately shut up.

"oh and you will all be sleeping in tents." Cory said.

everyone started shouting in protest of going. "aright that's enough! we are all going camping as a school field trip and that's final." Cory said.

everyone groaned in protest but didn't say anything.

what am I gonna do? how am I gonna be able to be around josh for a whole week after I saw him in the shower AND KISSED HIM. ok Riley calm down that kiss never happened, and he's your uncle for Petes sake. and what are you gonna do about Lucas? oh why dose my life have to be so difficult?! Riley yelled at herself in her mind.

*after class in the hallway*

Riley was getting her books out of her locker for her next class when Lucas came up to her. "hey princess" he said nervously while slightly smiling.

are you fudgeing kidding me?!?! he has the nerve to walk up to me all causal after I caught him kissing my ex friend?!?! Riley thought to herself. anger was building inside of her just by seeing his stupid face. "don't you dare call me princess!" Riley spat at him, slammed her locker shut, and started walking away only to have Lucas run after her.

"Riley I'm sorry ok. I should have never kissed smackle." Lucas said running after her.

"dame right you shouldn't have you asshole." Riley said still walking away from him.

Lucas grabbed her arm and spun her around. "please Riley give me a second chance." Lucas pleaded still holding onto Riley's arm.

"Lucas I have given you a billion chances. I believe that people make mistakes, but it doesn't count as a mistake if they do the same thing twice, they call that a choice." Riley said, ripped her arm away from his grasp and ran away but she heard Lucas yell to her. "when have I done this before? when you said 'twice', what did you mean?!?" Riley stopped in her tracks but still had her back facing him and said one sentence. "dose maya, ring a bell." and with that she walked to her next class.
