it's been a week since farkle broke my heart. I'm a mess. every time mom comes in my room and asks what's wrong I just turn up my stereo and ignore her until she leaves. to keep my mind off of farkle I've been keeping myself busy with homework, going back to ballet classes and so on. speaking of which I should get to school. I went to my closet and picked out something causal since me and farkle aren't having a secret love affair anymore I don't have to impress him anymore. 😔

maya: (grabs her purse and runs downstairs)
Katie: maya we need to talk.
maya: can't gonna be late for school! love you! (grabs a candy bar and an apple and runs out the door)
*at school*
maya: (runs into school out of breath) (she was running so fast she tripped on her shoelaces and slid all the way across the room) ahh!!! (she screamed and tumbled into someone's arms) phew! (relived she didn't fall on her face) than- (looks up and sees its farkle who caught her) thanks farkle.
Farkle: (stands her up on her feet) your welcome. (smiles)
maya: (grabs her purse from the ground and starts walking away until)
Farkle: for the record.
maya: (slowly turns around)
Farkle: im a player to the girls that I date but when I'm friends with someone I genuinely care about them. I had a crush on you since first grade. just because I changed doesn't mean that if we're friends I won't be there for you. I'm always gonna be there for you and Riley. and..I'm honnerd that you trusted and liked me so much that you gave your flower to me. (he said, smiled, then he walked away)
maya: I still love you. (she whispers to herself as a tear falls down her cheek and hits the ground. walks to class)
*in math class*
maya:(is just staring at the broad blankly but doesn't hear a word the teacher is saying. suddenly she feels a nudge on her shoulder. she looks beside her and sees it was Riley) yeah?
Riley: what's wrong? you've been acting like you lost your true love.
maya:(thinks to herself: if only you knew) nah I'm fine it's just, I haven't been getting enough sleep lately.
Riley: why not?
(just then the bell rings meaning end of class)
maya:(thinks to herself: thank gosh) (gets up and grabs her stuff)
Riley: see ya at lunch?
maya: (softly smiles) sure.
(then they both walk out of class)
*lunch time*
(rucas and maya are all sitting at a lunch table)
Riley: maya what's wrong with you? you've been spacing a whole lot. (concerned)
maya: ok riles you wanna know why I'm acting weird?
Riley:(nods)
maya:(sighs) the reason is-
smarkle: hey guys! (they say in unison and sit down)
Farkle:(gets out his phone and hides it under the table and texts maya)

may🙂: what's wrong with you you look sad?
maya:(phone dings. she hides it under the table, reads it, rolls her eyes, and texts farkle back)
my bad boy 💘😢: it's nothing. and why do you care??!?!
may 😤: fine If that's the way it's gonna be then I won't even care about you anymore! 😡
*end of text convo*
markle:(put their phones back in their pockets)
Farkle: hey smackle how about we go to the movies tonight?
smackle:(smiles) I'd love to.
Farkle:(smiles and eats his food)
rucas:(are feeding each other and giggling)
maya:(looking down and is picking at her food sneaks a glance at farkle then sighs and looks back down at her food) (pushes her food away) I'm not hungry. (says In a sad tone) I'll see you guys later. (walks out of the cafeteria)
