Josh was knocking and he said Riley I can come in? I jolted awake by Josh's knocking. I said to myself it was just a dream? but it felt so real? I got up from the bed and opened the door to see josh standing in my doorway. I said nervously hey josh. he said hey riles can I come in? while bitting his lip. dang that's so sexy I thought to myself. I said uh sure while stepping aside to let him in. he came into my room and I closed the door and locked it. I said so what did you wanna talk about in private? he sighed and said Riley Lucas knows about the kiss that happened between us. i said I know. he was shocked and confused. he said wait how do you know? I said he came by my locker earlier today at school and blackmailed me. he said that if I didn't date him for a week he would tell everyone including my parents. Josh got really angry and said that son of a- I stopped him mid sentence and said Josh please don't do anything please. Josh said fine I won't, but if he goes too far I will not have a problem with killing him. and he said it really seriously to which meant that he meant it. I said I promise I'll tell you if he does. Josh suddenly said in a serious tone Riley, why out of everyone in the entire world did you have to like me? I said I don't know, why out of everyone did you have to like MY BEST FRIEND. he got really angry and said you know what I still like your best friend, in fact I think I might be in love with her. my breath hitched in my throat at that moment and I said in a angry tone yeah, well I'm in love with Lucas! Josh said, fine, don't ever speak to me again about the kiss or 'us' from now on we are only family, ok! tears theatred to come down my face but I held them back and screamed fine! then Josh stromed out of my room. I screamed out in frustration, and sadness. I thew a pillow at the door, flooped on my bed and hugged my teddy bear Barry. I lied about the story I told everyone. the reason I freaked out so much when I lost Barry was not because my parents gave him to me it was because, Josh gave him to me. I hugged Barry tightly and cried.
