mayas POV

   I was on the bathroom floor biting my nails nervously. I missed my period date which was yesterday and the party was two weeks ago. so I went to the drug store and got a pregnancy test. it's been only 1 minute and I'm already shaking from fear of what it might say. what if it's positive, what will farkle, mom, the whole school think or say, most importantly...what will Riley think??? will she hate me for lying to her?? will she think I'm a whore for having a secret affair with farkle?? how will I handle school how will I raise a baby?? I barely can take care of myself!! my head was spinning from all the thinking. the sound of a timer going off broke my train of thoughts. I got up from the floor. here it goes I thought to myself. I looked at the pregnancy stick. it had.....two lines! I started sobbing. "shit how could I have been so stupid!!!!" I yelled at myself out loud. I fell to my knees still crying. I slowly rubbed circles around my flat stomach thinking about how it will soon be the size of a balloon. I got out my phone with my shaking hand and dialed Riley's number. after the first ring she picked up. "hey maya!" she said in her chirpy voice. I swallowed the big lump that was forming in my throat. "Riley, get over here I have something to tell you." I said with a breaking voice. "peaches I'm on my way." she said then we hang up.
