Fionna's POV

Sigh another long day.......

It's been so boring around here lately. I don't know what cake is up to with lord

I look around the house and find BMO sitting on the floor humming to a video game's tune. I smile a little and approach BMO.

BMO suddenly turns to me and asked" Fionna why so glum?

"Well I don't know BMO...... What is the date by the way?"

BMO checks the calender. Then says with a sad look in his eyes "23 august"

Glob! It was the same date flame prince broke up with me! Great after realizing that I get even more depressed.....

BMO looks at me with those cute gentle eyes and ask "you okay fionna?"

I nod and head to my room before I get emotional Again. As my eyes fill with tears ready to flow I start to think of Marshall how he always cheers me up. The thought of him made me smile.

So I got off the bed and called him to come over. Turns out he was already outside my house. I guess maybe he knew it was that time of the year again.

Marshall's POV

Shit I just checked my calender it's freaking 23 august when that bastard hurt fionna and broke her heart. I don't know why I care so much though and I like what falling for fionna?

For a moment I questioned myself.

Shit get a hold of yourself man you don't want her to get hurt do you? Omg I'm talking to myself again okay now STAPH

I quickly fly over to Fi's. I flew up her window and just as I thought, she was tearing up. Oh geez what am I thinking of, she even looks like an angel when she cries.

Get a hold of yourself Marshall you're here to cheer her up!

Right! Got it! I head for the door, I hear a familiar voice "coming" . Fionna opens the door and exclaims "MARSHALL" I feel loved. I smirked

Then unexpectedly she hugs me that got my heart racing. I've never felt this way before my heart feels very weird.

I feel droplets of water drop on my shirt. Shit! She's crying!

Fionna's POV

I don't know why I hugged him is there something wrong with me?

I started crying I just want to stay like this for a while more. Marshall doesn't seem to mind at all he doesn't move.

After a while I back away. "Sorry I just needed a hug I guess" Why is he blushing? And not replying me?

"Oh oh errr it's fine" then he looks away

Is he avoiding eye contact?

"Erm Marshall you wanna eat something? Come sit on the couch"

"No I'm fine. Sure!"

Sudden silence after he sat down then he turns to me and grabs me by the shoulders. He looks me in the eyes and says......

Marshall's POV

I sure what I'm about to say is gonna just embarrass her a lot

"Erm fionna I know it's that time of year it's been two years since you know who (damn it's harder than I thought it would be) erm yea (erm yea? Dafaq Marshall) so if you like to talk it out or cry it out again please don't." She looks at me shocked

"You'll always have me I won't break your heart like that butt I'm here to cheer you up!" I try to smile a little

She blushes. Oh I just melted I love it when she blushes

Fionna's POV

"Hey Marshall?

"Yea?"

"Can I have just one more hug?" I blush even redder (why am I asking such a qn)

He didn't say anything just opened up his arms and closed me in I put my arms around his waist and squeezed him tightly.

After about 5 minutes in that position I thought Marshall needed a break so I pulled away but he didn't want to let go.

"Why you don't love to hug me anymore?" He smirked

I blush and look away. In the end we let go and at that moment someone came knocking at the door

Who could that be? At such a late hour

I opened the door and it was gumball.

"Oh hey gumball what brings you here?"

"I'm here to cheer you up!"he says in a sweet yet girly voice

"That's MY job" Marshall hissed

"Oh he's here" gumball looks kinda dissapointed

"It's ok I'm fine thanks for your concern gumball. You wanna stay here and play BMO with us?"

"No I'm fine I'll be going since he's already here" he replied

"Well okay I'll see you tomorrow then"

"Bye"

Marshall's POV

stupid gumwadd trying to steal my job

Good thing he's gone now I get more alone time with fionna

"Hey fionna what's in your room?"

Right before she could answer I fly up there and I could here her chasing after me

I look around and find a blue bikini on the floor I pick it up and say "wow fionna we should go swimming at the lake sometime. I wonder how you look like in this"

She blushes like a red tomato. I chuckled. "Give them back!"

"You have to give me something in return. How about a kiss?"

She looked at me and I closed my eyes and puckered up

Fionna's POV

Shit is this like a trap? What can I do? There's no other option so I gave him a little kiss on the cheek

His eyes widened "fionna did you just? I was kidding.. But you have very soft lips" he smirked I should be blushing as usual

"I'm gonna sleep" I ran and tucked myself under the covers

Soon I fell a body beside me it was cold but I enjoyed the presence.
